Maksvytis, on other hand, with right pieces looks like a coach. Now we should ripen up Sedekerskis, Tubelis, Krivas, Murauskas for the NT (defensively capable frontline) and Maksvytis will have the roster to be successful. That won't happen instantly, but if Maksvytis shows improvements in 2023 WC I would keep him long term. We should try to make our Sergio Scariolo/Vincen Collet out of Maksvytis. He's a good fit. Player's coach (unlike Saras), doesn't overcomplicate things (which suits FIBA tournaments), but also is able to control the team to to provide solid set of plays. If he will become a bit more matured in terms of tactics and game control (he tends to miss some important time-outs), I think he has an upside to become serious NT coach.
