Yeah, the log dude with that stupid haircut and that vinyl debil beard is not cool anymore, lol... Because we have Saboneris! He is the play maker and the team's leader. He is the King of Lithuanian bball. And the King among the kings team. I mean, it's like the guy in the vid said: you have Saboneris and four shooters around him... And the team is winning! Sure, he isn't scoring 50 on every game, yet, it's all we have. Oh, and why is Fox's salary higher than Sabonis? It should be the other way around.

IN nba right now is offensive firework in every single night multiple people scores 40pts+ in every 2 weeks someone scorer 50pts or get dribble doubles with 20+reb or ridiculous 60pts + 20reb or 71pts its insane .

Floor is so spread,lane is wide open with no shot blocking and players are so good offensively especially shooting wise compared to even with 10 years ago nba players.

Not just Sabonis every teams leader is breaking records every week of his franchise it obviuos stats inflation happening now its like diffrent game stats wise. Scoring is up this season the most in nba since 1985m according to basketball refference

I get why top 3 best europe players openly saying is way easier to score in nba than in fiba. I agree with them in regular nba season.


Yeah NT dont use Sabonis they just played him the most minutes than any other NT player in last 3 tournaments

As always zero objectivity comming from dinosour expert he sees tunell vision what he want and dont see overall what is happening in nba right now.


Nba right now has 44 players that averages 20pts . In 90s nba only 15-20 players was averaging 20pts per game in same season.

7 of 44 20pts scorers are europeans and Domas is 48th and 8th highest scoring european right now. 7 other europes NTs fans can have same fantasies same like dinosour expert.


And dont even talk about players like Serbias Bogdanovich or Rubio or Mills who dont belong in that top scoring 8 list of 2022 but i rather have them than half of those top 8 on my NT how game is played in fiba and what skillsets is needed there.

I haven't done the needed homework, I'm just a casual Lith bb enjoyer, yet I would have to agree that the log dude still looks more solid in NT. He's a great player and he's funny. It sucks that he's underperforming this season. Man, I hate Zion JV looks very impressive on the athletic side. The way he pushes people off the board is amazing, lol. Sabas still has to top that 37 this season and I hope they both will score more than that.

What it has to do with scoring? Not scoring is primarily value of Sabonis. He's much more than just a scorer. Markannen is just a scorer. Sabonis is much much more than that. He's the second best point center in the world. He's the only guy And it's irrelevant what kind of NBA you have today. You have to work your ass off to be among elite anyway. Whatever the NBA is, there's still elite players, good players, average players, scrubs. Sabonis is like 10th today in MVP race. He's having absolutely elite season.

BTW, regarding scoring it's not like it's easy to drop 71 now It's still super rare. Like Kobe's 81pts game in 2006 yet never broken and 71 is the best shot at it. Like we talk how open NBA is today, but no-one can beat Kobe's record. You would think players would go for 90 or even 100 points since NBA is so offensively "open" now.

SS, you tend to trivialize, reduce things. Domas never yet started in his natural position in the NT. 2 times All Star. In other words, Domas as the best player of Lithuania, was forced to adjust to other players, instead of the team adjusting to him. Meaning we never built around Sabonis. He was forced to play next JV in his unnatural 4 position. He never got the most touches, never shot most FTs. We never really tried to build around Sabonis. That is a fact. OMG, Sabonis played 0,7 minutes longer than JV because JV screwed against Spain and took himself out with personal fouls. You gotta be shiitin' your self with that kind of arguments

We have to start Sabonis and give someone who can move around him at other positions. With JV it's complete waste of Sabonis. And our defense is complete garbage. If Maksvytis won't have balls to do it we f...again. JV is a role player. Raptors knew how to use him. Play him 17 minutes and give him touches and he will bring his double double. That's a great role player. If you build around him - you screwed. No matter NBA or FIBA.

Saboner is a two time all star, I was pretty sure he will be an all start the third time this year, but apparently Kings is a shit team. They only had 6 all stars since the 90's or sum. It will be a fun game tomorrow against LeB.J. It would be cool if Saboner team could beat le goat

It's fun to see 2 key players of NT - Sabonis and Jokubaitis - playing well. If you have 1 and 5 to build around, it's already good situation. Domas is ready. Now this OC will depend on whenever Jokubaitis will be ready. I think we are talking more about 2024 or 2025, but it will be interesting to see how this duel will look in 23 WC as well.

NBA ALL STAR voting shouldn't give 50% weight for fans cause most of them are clueless. I mean GSW fans would vote for any scrub of their team maniacally I mean Kevon fucking Looney is there Complete no-body with 6ppg and there's no Sabonis among bigs of West as votes go. This is trash and kids just able to vote for KD, Lebron, Doncic kinda superstars type and completely clueless on what to pick for the rest so they just take their team's bigs.
