That lineup would not make stops

After watching zalgiris grinding, physically defensive wins in euroleague I want same style in NT

We loosing on backourt tallent either way ,so NT should make zalgiris type wrestling match

Non shooting nba all star is not saving our offence in smaller fiba courts.

Make it tough nose physicall defensive battle like LTU 2015 or Zalgiris 2023 did

In wrestling game Sabonis is decent too.

True. We should hope Ulanovas will shoot threes pretty well. Jokubaitis will shoot better than he did in Eurobasket (capable and realistic asking). And let's hope Dimsa will be knocking his shots coming from the bench (36.4% in El with 107 unleashed threes is decent). That's the main reserves I can see. Iggy already shot the ball well in EB, he can only hopefully repeat that. Lekavicius shot well also generally.

Jokubaitis, Grigonis, Ulanovas, Kuzminskas, Sabonis. That's the best what Maksvytis can do creating as much shooting around Domas as possible at the moment. That's all. And that's not enough to be winning offensive team most likely. Close to that, but not enough, IMO.

Im looking Sabonis game from NT perspective

In Fiba non shooter cant be nr 1 option in offence. Thats why i believe Grigonis should be best bet for 2023-2024 summers.

Both Warriors and Kings playing very specific offence ,but this more of special style than normal thing that would work everywhere.

Normally in 2020s basketball player should be able to make wide open 4meter jumpshots

.Kings coach Brown implemented Warriors system in his team . All that shooting, not stop players moving, cutting its warriors system. In this system Sabonis skills is best possible fit

But that doesnt mean putting non shooter passer/rebounder big would be easy fit in other situations

For the NT it's a problem cause we lack perimeter talent and even pure shooting power ATM. But in NBA it's barely a problem. What are the best offensive teams in NBA? GSW and Kings. None of their bigs, centers can't shoot. Green is reluctant shooter, he's 7/25 from the field 28%. Looney can't shoot at all. Sabonis shoots 48,2% from the field and still can shoot better. Last night 1/3 mid range jimmies. He shouldn't rush those shots, shoot like FTs. In other words, best offensive teams have non shooting bigs basically, but they are good glue guys, great screeners, mobile. Both Sabonis and Green operate as POINT CENTERS. Sabonis last night dished 8 assists. Kings were very close to beat Warriors at home.

What I'm missing from Sabonis, he shiuld settle down a bit. He's too eager a bit and Kings should run more pick and roles. Only 1 pick and roll situation in 13 field goals for Sabonis. He destroyed Looney in that case. Kings goes a bit too ISO. They should run more pick and rolls and move the ball a bit more. What I've seen so far is that Sabonis is going to nasty ISO battles and barely gets facilitated and easy looks nearer the basket. Pick and roll should be used much more. Some easy points would come.

Gotta give credit to GSW, at home they are good defensive team, but Kings showing tremendous scoring potential.

PS: Again, give players who can shoot around Sabonis and you will have likely the best offense in the tournament.

Fox is top 20 player barely stoppable even for good defenders

That asshole Green is best defender of last 10 years and yesterday he shown why

Now pressure is on Kings they must protect home court by any cost, they aren't winning in Golden state arena

This series is totally crazy, I watched live game and the pace is insane, the ability to score is insane for both teams. Kings were really close taking this one, but now the pressure is on them. I kinda feel that Kings might be a bit more fresh in 6th and 7th games if needed. But if Warriors wins next game the pressure will be huge on Kings. All games were very close, as expected. Two best offensive teams in the planet. Sabonis has to step up and to be more precise. He looks a bit tense and out of rhythm. He figured it out how to be a monster in regular season, now he should figure it out how to play consistently and smartly aggressively in playoffs environment. If Kings will get away with taking down the champs, look out NBA. They can score flat out. Kings with scoring Keegan Murray can beat anyone, but also they need more dominant Sabonis for sure. He should have one of these 11/13 field goals kinda game, 20rbs, 10 assists. Kings is yet to utilize their all pieces. Sabonis didn't yet have his GOOD game in the series. Warriors already showed everything they got. Completely open series now.

Bad shooting night for Kings. All legit shooters were terrible this time. Keegan Murray still struggles to brake out in playoffs.

Warriors didn't show anything spectacular. Not that they shot impressively, simply Kings had an off day. Not saying Warriors are trash, but so far they didn't show anything scary. Yet to shoot better than 32% from three.

Kings got outrebounded. That thing shouldn't happen. They are younger and deeper team. They should out-hustle every opponent every day.

Warriors look very weak at 5. Kuminga is a super athletic guy but Warriors lack rim protection. It looks bad for the Warriors. Will be closely watching game 3.

Totally deserved ejection from game 2 but also ban from game 3 hmm not sure about that

This nba desicion put alot fire on warriors organisation and players.

Twitter : Warriors fans gonna let Domas know what they think about his stuff he did in that moment and we will see how Domas gonna look when entire arena will be booing him every time he will touch the ball

In Game 3 Sabonis mental strenght gonna be tested

Sabonis might miss game with sternum contusion. Green suspended. What a dushbag. Hope Kings will sweep Warriors and Green will look like completely irrelevant mediocre.

Warriors is one of the worst teams defensively on the road, but one of the best and even the best (when Wiggins is playing) defensive team at home. If Kings will snatch at least one win in upcoming 2 games, it's over. Kings has it. But if Warriors will show that at home they are too tough, then the series will be crazy close. Somehow I expect Kings to take one win, and to be 3:1 after 4 games.

Kings is not a playoff team, pelicans will go much futher.
They have no chances against warriors.
    They cant defend.

    Blah blah.

And now you already talking about lakers as their next opponent? Seriously this series can still go either way.

Anyway nice to see Kings shooting very poorly, but still locking down Curry. They gave no easy baskets for them and Sabonis was big part on this perimeter defense, very quick smart rotations. Bravo.

Exactly. Davis won't have a luxury to 100% hustle at D. He needs to be basically No.1 guy offensively if Lakers wants to be a contender. Lebron is not the same already. Good, but not super great as used to be.

Another thing. B. Lopez is also great defender, but look Sabonis numbers this season against Bucks. He was playing some bully ball against Lopez this season.

AD ain't stopping Sabonis. Specially when there's Fox next to him. Deadly duet offensively.
