Jerusalem with its new coach Dan Shamir (former Gershon's assistant in MTA) continues to refresh the roster. After Jenkins's leaving to Efes they didn't wait and brought to the holy city from Barcelona Ed Cota . Time will say if it will be smart step or not. It is second signing of Hapoel this season. The first was Jurica Golemac from Russian team Ural Great.

it may be a positive thing...hes very expiranced and can add more to the IL league level.
this year the rosters of maccabi and Hapoel Jerusalem are pretty much on the same level...so maybe good things can happen and our league can have new champion...it can only do good for the il basketball that maccabis control will be lowered down...
I know there will be people that will say "but maccabi is the only one worthy, and can play in europe"!!
well from an objactive point of view(im just a bball isreali fan and not a maccabi or hapol)...any team that will get 7-6M$ from tax payers money like maccabi does form channel 1 can be worthy...add the 7M to the 7M$ budget Hapol has and youll get a 2m$ budget higher than maccabis 12m.
boy wouldnt that change the picture

Golemac should be a nice surprise for Jeruslame fans imo. He is a SF trapped in PF's body , with good court vision, range ... and has great mobility&motorics for his height... all-round playerOriginally posted by Jon_KoncakThat's funny shit.I cant believe there are sports fans thinking like it.It's like Federer losing to random Japanese player in round 1 of French Open but tournament director stepping in and saying "hey it was a fluke win who wants to watch a random Japanese guy in next round,Federer qualifies"
