Greek NT 2025

As this very exciting summer slowly comes to an end, we can start to look ahead to next year.
I wonder how the federation elections will affect the NT and if Lolios will be re-elected with all the DPG7000 criticism he has to face.
I wonder if older players will leave the NT and if Sloukas and Papapetrou will return to the NT.
If there will be new talents joining the team and of course I wonder if Giannis is interested and able to play in the EC.


One thing is for sure, we have two qualification games against GBR in November and I wonder who will be available to play.

I guess Toliopoulos, Kalaintzakis, Walkup, Mitoglou, Papagiannis, K.Antentokoumpo will be available, if they are healthy. There is also Larentzakis, Charalampopoulos, Moraitis etc
I think they are enough for the games against GBR

Giannis played in Eurobasket 2022, so if he is healthy he will do the same for Eurobasket 2025.

Giannis has participated to Mundobasket 2014, Eurobasket 2015, pre-olympic tournament 2016, Mundobasket 2019 and Eurobasket 2022. He has only skipped Eurobasket 2017 and Mundobasket 2023 due to injury issues and pre-olympic tournament 2021 due to NBA finals with Bucks.
So I think all what matters is for him to be healthy in order to participate to Eurobasket 2025.

At least Thanassis has a lot of passion and really motivates and encourages our players. There is no better cheerleader than him

Thats true but seeing him throwing airballs in the last eurobasket was really really sad. He was quite a good player while playing for PAO.

What is it with Embiid playing for Cameroon? I believe he can make a case because he was born there. I wonder if a case can be made for Vezenkov to play for Greece. Perhaps not, because he was born in Cyprus rather than Greece.
