At SF I see Papapetrou and Rogkavopoulos, Thanassis. They can replace Papanikolaou.

The guards are tricky. My view is that Dorsey shouldn’t be playing as a naturalised player. I am not worried about skilled players, as long as there is continuity and dedication.

BTW it seems that Greece will have the opportunity to play with a full roster in the OQT in Athens. The Bucks are not playing in the finals.
Papagiannis has regressed and there is no evidence of becoming a better version of himself. Kostas A. and Thanasis are nothing more than jokes. Thanasis has no interest of being a serious player. Bucks keep him in order to make Giannis happy. Thanasis is not even a Eurocup level player, pretty dumb in addition.

Mitoglou is an ok player for Euroleague level although his defense in the Maccabi series was pretty bad. He started the season well.

You can forget about Papapetrou. You cant win with him against average teams. A pretty solid defender but he pretty much no offensive talent. He is 30 years old. I dont know what kind of improvement you expect from him.

This is not for you to decide. He is a naturalized player and it wont change. Sloukas, Calathes and Giannis are the only assets that the Greek BB has right now. Rogkavopoulos is a talented player, Mitoglou is usable, the rest is below average.

Imagine that Greece was playing with none of them in previous World Cup.

Rogkavopoulos is still a non issue. Even Toliopoulos is a better offensive player.

Kostas is a young big man. He will improve and become a factor a few years from now.

Lmao Thanasis to replace Papanikolaou as he's either 2 years younger or a better basketball player than him? This is beyond ridiculous.

          Nope, he is not.

He is neither young nor will he improve much from what he is right now. He is 97 born and has played for Asvel, FB and PAO so far without having the slightest improvement.

Giannis stated that he needs 2-3 weeks for his recovery and then he will decide the next step.. I am not that optimistic

If he’s healthy, he will play.

Thanasis replacing Papanikolaou must be some form of late April fool's Although I think Papanikolaou tends to be pretty bad with the national team (could be wrong, I don't remember). Unfortunately, as far as Kostas goes his role would be similar to the one he has in Pao: get in to rest the starting C hoping he can get a couple of dunks, blocks, rebounds. Nothing more. It's really unfortunate that this kid didn't put any effort into becoming an average EL big.

About Giannis: The only thing that makes me optimistic it's that it's the Olympic Games. If it was any other competition I would have ruled him out already.

Quite right. We are dependent on a couple of late bloomers.

I think I found your starting EL play maker for the future. Ilias Chaidemenos, a truly talented guard.
