You are talking as if Calathes, Dorsey or Bramos were more talented than Diamantidis, Spanoulis or Papaloukas..
Calathes, Dorsey and Bramos were no immigrants in Greece but persons with more or less relation to the greek diaspora. I am talking about guys like Giannis, Thanassis and Kostas.
By the way I loved Bramos. I am wondering why he decided to stop playing for the greek national team or why he has not been called any more. (Whatever was the case).

You just said immigrants, so I thought about Greeks living abroad.
Even though I love having Giannis, Thanasis and Kostas in our NT, my wish is young greek talents to appear and become great players, rather than find more guys like the Antetokoun-bros.
Yes yes keep cool. 100% ethnic purity is an outdated concept. For sure there is some genetic influence outside the southern balkan peninsula in his family.
My brother is blonde with blue eyes, I don’t have either He has my mom’s genes I guess but that was also how my grandma looked and so on. As far as I know they are from Evoia since looooong ago.

Ok Ok Ok, I surrender. Tanoulis looks like the typical Greek from Thessalonica born next door to Atatuerk. His similarity to Norwegian poeple is caused by mass migration from Greeks to Scandenavia in acient times when the vulcano on Santorin exploded.

If they are born in Greece they are Greeks this the modern conception of this subject. I think more effort has to be done to integrate those guys into greek sports system.
Given the fact that there were many absentees , he was essential for this team regardless.
It was a kind of gambling. And with gambling you can loose and this is what happend. If Mitoglou was not around he would have treated Agravanis more carefully.

It is known that Thessaloniki produces many blonds The most famous of all must be Giannis Ioannidis, the blond

Indeed that proves my hypothesis about a strong connection between Norway and Greece.
Papaloukas mentioned that Giannis Ioannidis mobbed him after the many lost freethrows ( I think he lost 7 in a row) in the EC quarterfinal loss 2001 against Germany. Ioannidis character is similar to Agravanis. It seems that blond greeks have something in common.
I think the list of elite Greek guards ended with Sloukas. Mouratos, Moraitis, Lountzis etc. are not bad guards but not the material who could lead an EL team. But we also know that Greek player develop very late so who knows?

I agree about Lountzis. Lountzis got his opportunity and has shown that he is not top-level maybe he is on the level Mantzaris was in the past?!?!? You can feel it when he starts talking. He is way too soft to be a high-level player. But Moraitis I am not sure yet. Lets give him 1 more year.
