Anyone heard anything about matej mamic? I can't really find something in the net, not even in the alba berlin website.

He had an accident during a German league game and was almost paralysed. This was just last October, so I'd say he is still in recovery or retired.... but you probably knew that already.2008... Beijing, China

Mamic is still in recovery. The doctors at the hospital where he stayed said that it's not sure that he'll ever be able to play basketball again (well, in the beginning it wasn't even sure that he'd be able to walk again), but in the meantime he avoided life in a wheelchair and already trained a bit again, shooting a bit, etc... He was talking about joining the team in the playoffs recently, but those were just words imo, I don't see a chance for that to happen. But maybe if the recovery works out well, he'll be able to join the team in the upcoming season again, I really hope that he'll be able to play ball again.Comment
