Parker might not play until the end of the competition. He got knocked badly in the Austria game, and he sprained his ankle softly. The staff decided not to use him then.
Traore and Gomis are feeling better.

Diot has not the level to play in the NT yet. He didn't show things that exceptionnal with Le Mans yet, and was not even in the preselection. Let's see what his next season will be.

I just finished to see the semi-final (unfortunately I hadn't found a live stream yersterday, so I had to wait to the torrent. I hope to find a stream for watching the final) and he was even more brilliant then before.

I really wish that he would at least join the team to the preparation games (after a little rest of course) and the option that he improved will be examined.
I really love his game! Very fun to watch.

i know you guys like guys like florent pietrus and others. maybe because they played in clubs you liked in france, but as an outsider may i suggest france play with 12 NBA players. It makes no sence not using NBA players for some shmo playing in the pro A league. you have NBA at every position and many countries would love to have that. where gelabale,ian mahimi and yakoub diawarra ? decolo,parker,mike pietrus,noha,ajinca,batum,parker,turriuf,petro!!! thats a team!!

NBA players don't guarantee championships, Teamwork does.

And just coz some French players are in the NBA doesn't mean they the best French players they have. A few of those players came to the NBA unprepaired, some of those NBA players never averaged double digits in the Frecnh League, and others great french players just never wanted to go to the NBA and stay playing in France, (they get pay better in Europe than in the NBA as a Rook anyway)

I mean. do you really think Nando De Colo is the best French point guard not named Tony Parker

Hold up lewis usa. you got the wrong blog this isnt the NFL blog. this is that foreign basketball. All im saying is if you have 12 nba players you gotta use them. NBA players have a physical advantage over other leagues because you dont see 40 yold bald guys playing the point in the nba and with the trend of going younger and great fitness in the NBA most players look like super athletes. i know the european game focuses more on fundamentals and high basketball i.Q than raw athletisism but if the NBA is the best league in the world why not use them. frances style of play,because of its players makeup , is more suited to the NBA style anyway.You are not going to make France play like greece or spain unless you change the whole roster and start guys like decolo,weisz,julian,rigondeu,etc..

nba playing French maybe are athletic, but, sometimes brainy but less athletic guy can give more than athletic. guys like jasikevicius, macijauskas, lakovic, papaloukas and others ar more useful then guys like parker, pietrus, diaw....

My friend arturcia,that's a blasphemy man to say something like that especially for Parker!I can accept that the Euro players have some advandance because of the FIBA rules but you can't compare NBA and Euro players,it's different game completely and it's a matter of subjectivity and at last of taste,for me European ball has become very dull the last years,it looks like the coaches lobotomise their players!And an last question for you.Did you watch Mikhael Pietrus in this year's play-offs with the Orlando Magic?If yes,you really had the impression that he is not a team and system player???

BTW I was very glad to see Diarra back to the NT.It's Mamadu right?I used to watch this player in Greek A1 for a couple of years and he is a really solid player,both psysically and mentaly!I believe he can play in top european level,really has he signed anywhere yet?
