      Now...
First of all congrats to President Koç for bringing one of the masterpiece (Jorge Jesus) coach to the football section.
Secondly i want to remind him; we (all bb fans in general) will keep an eye on the transfer moves of bb team for the new season... if he cares of course
As rumours says 7 millions for Jesus and his team...
And bb section of club waiting for it's turn.
Hope they make a good job.

A considerable amount of Fenerbahçe fans put basketball team before football team so any kind of action to downgrade their basketball section won't reflect credit on their president, as he has been already getting a lot of negative reactions from the fans because of different reasons, but mostly because of the non-stop failures.

As football goes, no matter how much it costs Jorge Jesus is a very right move for them. Maybe under his coaching, they can join CL after 15 years.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

Hey Worrax, been doing okay, thanks a lot for your words. Not as much as I used to do, but I still do watch the games and keep up with the basketball news at odd times.

Also, not going to lie, I miss the old atmosphere on this forum. The current situation on Interbasket doesn't make me want to post often. There were more valuable posters here whom you could have quality discussions on the game. Most of the big guns have gone.

Hope you doing well aswell. Salute you with warmest regards!

Everything's fine thanks... and agree about the forum's look but still some of us around and it will be nice to read your monitorings, specially about the young prospects... whenever you have time and wish of course. Welcome back!

Everyone decide what to do with his life including posting on this forum

Who are "big guns" that we miss? I am here 13 years and could name just one guy from whom I could learn something. CoachZ

I miss Katastroika too. Terorizer with his lucid sharp and brilliant posts. That's it.

And now we are all irrelevant here and insufficient for a great gentlemans interest, because OMG big guns are gone.

Don't be such touchy, man. All I meant that there were more posters here so more activity accordingly. I appreciate your contribution to forum and enjoy your posts. You are a much better analyzer than most of the so-called basketball commentators in Turkish media.

Plus I find you amusing in a positive way. It is hard to forget all those ''I am an engineer and I know better basketball than you''-esque comments made by you in past.

                    Peace.

                      Ok dude, no hard feelings

I said many times that I am not expert for basketball, most of my comments are based on my insticts about players, their character and skillset. I am following basketball 30+ years with passion and as consequence I know a little bit about tactics too, but I am far from so called expert and that isn't in my focus. Modern coaches are almost in same level of knowledge, difference is only in budgets they have and their capability to use that money in best possible way. Ataman proved that. Mediocre coach but great manager, maybe the best. Kokoskov great coach, but poor manager.

I am not just engineer, but manager too, so I am used to situation when you have to choose new member for the team That's why my comments are focused most on the bad spots in the rosters.

It depends of role he will play. If Fener's ambition is to reach play off and to be in level with the Asvel, Bayern and those teams that sneak around 8th place I agree this is great move. For F4 contender you have to go for proved winners. For instance, Anderson was scorer in Zalgiris and the main player, but in Efes he is in quit different role. If that the case with Okobo, could be ok, but I doubt. They expect from him to be core player which is a big mistake.

I see, but look at the transfer market... not many guard options. Seems Pangos is about to sign with Milan and Delaney (as radallo mentioned) has injury problems. The rest of the good staf is under contract. Did i miss any other good guards from the market, or you think it's better to pay buyout for a player under contract? What is your solution?

Iffe Lundberg or keeping De Colo, if we talk about sg position, without buyout. Grigonis with buyout

I am not sure who is behind this Okobo move, Itoudis, Djordjevic or Gherardini himself, but strange in any case.
