I would compare him with Thompson, without him Curry couldn't reach full potential. With him coming back they are again as used to be

Efes shouldn't separate their splash brothers at any cost

Maybe, but just Maybe Satoransky could be decent replace.
Exactly wrote the same things... and i don't think he will leave but we'll see.

And with the addings of #5, #4 and a #2-#3 guy, you could add any local players you wish I prefer Gazi, Tuncer to stay most.
      Players you mentioned+Clyburn+Thompkins = 3rd title in a row

And btw I totally forgot him to mention. There are no rumors but my perfect replacement for Dunston is Jordan Mickey for me the most underrated big in Europe.

I like John Brown of Kazan but he's not Ataman's type at #4. I think Fener must seriously think on him. Hard worker and very stable... so much dirty jobs in each game. It is also interesting the Milutinov and Voigtmann's end in Cska.

Though I don't like Ataman(or at least I didn't), there is a need to say some nice words about him.

            1. From last team in EL he jumped to runner up next season, after that he took 2 titles and probably there could be 3rd if covid season ended in any way. I can't remmember that any coach did that in modern era. Gerson did similar thing, but Maccabi was powerfull team even before those 2 titles in a row.

            2. In both final games he outcoached opponents, who are better coaches on the paper. Laso kicked Thompkins from the team, Ataman pushed Singleton in fire(glue guy for sure). Perimeter defence was almost perfect, there were only couple uncontested shoots for Abalde and Yabusele. We all remember massacre from last season QF and what Itoudis did to Fener's bad perimeter covering. Laso as smart coach tried to break game early because he knew that in close game Efes has much bigger chances with splash brothers. But for that he needed more power from outside, and he didn't expect such perimeter defending from Efes.

            3. He is always early on the market and always goes for experienced EL players, not EC and rookies from NBA(bench warmers there). He made just one mistake in this 4 years, Moerman and Petrusev. 10 from 12 is very high percentage. Compared with Kokoskov's 2 from 14, he is the king of transfer market

            4. He managed to build and keep good team chemistry in the team without any scandal(he was prone to that). I will never forget argue and almost fight with Rakocevic

Bad sides are known but this is not a moment to comment

Efes is interested in Josh Nebo. Good guy, would support.

The back-to-back EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul show strong interest in signing Zalgiris Kaunas frontcourt player Josh Nebo, per BasketNews sources.

What can you say, look at these 2 names in last 2 days; Clyburn and Nebo. Bingo!

If we sign with Nebo, that means the end of Dunston era. Same style but younger, stronger, agile with very good jumping and offensive rebound abilities.

Like I said "Jaylon Raynolds type of player". Now a Sertac Sanli type of player with short rolling abilities and pass, soft touch around the rim and outside shot should be targeted. Keep Pleiß he has 1 or 2 years left and if he gets injured its ok.

Micic will go too I am almost sure. His manager is doing everything right now to trade his rights in the NBA. If Sato comes great, he developed a great shot in the NBA he is a great defender he is taller than Micic, perfect fit. Just a power forward is needed and the team is complete.

To mention Moerman in the same list as Petrusev is extremely unfair to the first, and also maybe a bit quick to judge on Petrusevs side (he wasnt transferred to save Efes in the big rotation, actually I dont know why he was transferred, he obviously needs a smaller team to develop in more).

Anyway, regarding Moerman, he was by far the most consistent player of Efes in season 1, and he had very important contributions for Efes in that regular season, where Shane was totally invisible for most of the time and Micic was even choking us like in that important game against Milan for the 4-5 places race, where Efes was winning but Micic gifted it to Milan.

This was still in the time where Efes was not taken seriously by anyone and not even seen as a candidate for the F4 let alone the final. In these times Moerman contributed alot. Yes in the following seasons he hasn’t been as important, considering he didn’t remain in that shape, but he still had contributions in some of the playoff games. Overall he should definitely be upgraded with a better player but his salary isn’t so high, I dont mind him on the bench. Somehow every single player Efes signed worked out for them, if not in all games definitely in moments where it mattered. The only one that contributed nothing was that 3 point shooting American that we got from Cska. I even forgot his name...

                            @Furkan

If you are ok with Moerman then me to, I am just comment from my own perspective. Those type of players are far away from my wish list.

But anyway I just comment Efes because in this moment there is nothing to write about Fener, for 3rd year in a row we even don't know who will be coach next season and again we are late on the market.

Ergin Ataman confirmed Clyburns signing. He said " I think the transfer will be finished in 7-10 days"
