Elijah Bryant after signing struggled a lot finding a proper role but now he looks like a perfect fit grabbing rebounds, playing excellent defense and making open shots etc. Sometimes player really need just time.

The ones of the foreigners are Dee Bost, Melo Trimbe and Akoon-Purcel of Galatasaray (all three are serious EL level player). I cant say this to any other player playing in Turkey.

That's an interesting shout. He was impressive at Monaco last season but his last Euroleague stint ended when he was released by Khimki.

Bryant played well during the first year with Maccabi and during the first half of the previous season. In the 2nd half wasn't that good, turnovers increased and shot 38,7% 2pts after the 20th game. They let him go without despairing much.

It is a pity because he is a young player supposed to improve, instead this year in Turkey till now is a disaster. I think he is mainly a sf, as a sg he faces difficulties with ball handling and dribbling. Ataman should try to help him.

I like Bryant. Let's hope he'll get his rhythm soon and stays with us next year. His performence till now is not good enough and not enough to keep him here in the future. Agree with you about his position. Sf is the ideal position for him.

You never know. Maybe the reason of his leap was leaving Efes. Player sometimes need a bigger role thats to make a leap. Bitim became a high volume shooter. The percentages doesnt look great but he is taking 4-5 shots a game. He is now ready to go back to Efes in order to fight for a spot.

Saybir is showing very good minutes as well against FB.

Efes defense was shit in the first quarter. You go nowhere with Pleiss as your center. He must go.

And Ömercan Ilyasoglu must be loaned too.

Agree on Saybir, he was good with his limited minutes. I think Pleiss was ok today, but for the next season yes, we should thank to him. Even though Micic was the hero of tonight's game, he makes me sick with his stupid turnovers. I also like Beaubois (specially in the second half) and i'm ok with him in general but he's turning to 34 this year and a big question mark for next season. Tuncer was great, Güven shitted and finally Singleton... even though he was ok tonight, he's not stable and that is the problem. I don't like it.

Good one Toruko, thank you. I will try to follow the players that you mentioned. Ercan Osmani is one of the good choices but i doubt Efes will get him. Previous years when i was following Onuralp Bitim, he was giving me so much hope... i always think Efes must have patience on him, but they give up so quickly.

I didn't know the Simon case... about Mert, i hope when the time comes, he choose Efes. Bryant looks not good but this is the whole team's picture, maybe that's why he's underperforming. On the other hand, i would never choose Saybir for the next year. Enough is enough, 3 or 4 years already..? Show something you can do, but no... i think he will continue to be the 3rd option because the team needs locals, too.

Yeah Saybir is a big disappointment but as long as he want to stay he will stay. Mert might land somewhere in Efes but its not next season. He will need to show that he can lead a CL, Eurocup team at first.

On the other hand I could write you who could have a EL shot next season then you can decide. Egemen Güven is a good choice out of the available ones in Turkey. Onuralp Bitim had an unexpected jump this season. Sadik Emir Kabaca of Galatasaray could be taken as a project although i am against it and Ercan Osmani of Besiktas is a very good material.

First Mert Akay is a 100 times better player than Gazi right now. Second he would never go to a team where he cant play. Third Kruno Simon wont be there next season. He had beef with Efes because he went to a funeral without permission of Efes and got a salary cut of 10%. This is also the reason why Bryant was signed.
