on a serious note, this has become official; 1.5 years contract. Quite a bad move I think, meaning the next year is also screwed. He's not a coach you could say yeah he has time to build his team now. He'll sign 8 players in offseason and then fire half of them in November.
Is it me or does he always have problems with American players?

A disastrous choice in my opinion but we will see. It seems highly improbable to reach playoffs this year.
I feel pitty about perasovic.I really liked his baskonia and last year efes. This year his transfer structure was a disaster and of course his gameplay was bad.If sfairopoulos fails again to take a title I would like him to oly.At least we will play a more appealing basketball.

He might have a short term impact, he does well with limited rosters, but overall he does not seem to be a good choice. He's basically a troll, talks about refs in half of the interviews, and also been a terrible coach for youngsters, remembering the slapping incident in his GS days.

to copy myself from the EL signings thread:

"lol, the same trend as the summer at Efes; one good news, then another... you start to think, is it finally going to the right direction? and right after a completely terrible move to deflate all the hopes...
now brace yourselves for injury news from Efes."

Turkey's European part is more populated than Serbia and Greece. You usually make decent comments but this one was highly on the spastic side, m8.

Ok, I hold my hands up. I didn't expect us to beat Barcelona and I certainly wasn't expecting a 20 point win away to Maccabi tonight. Looks like when the team clicks we can actually play some ball. Lets hope we can keep it up.

Serbia and Scandinavia are same culture? I didn't know that
We should go with Japan and China?

Turkey is a part of Europe geographically and has been a part of it culturally, regardless of what one might think. I don't see a valid argument for opposition here.
We could have chosen Asia, and we may at some point in the future, but it's actually up to us, not to Europe.
    Same thing for Russia.

We had a team that came within one game of the Final Four, the biggest mistake was to dismantle that instead of being patient and nurturing the talent we had.
I respectfully disagree. Heurtel and Granger are overrated. I actually like to watch Heurtel's game very much, but not on my team please.

Diversity is the greatest characteristic for a group of people, may it be a club, a nation, or a continent. WTF is "European Culture" ?

Is it a culture of the nordic tribes, Scandinavia? Is it the arabic influence in Andalusia, or the Basque or Catalonia? Is it Germanic, Celtic? Is it a culture of italians...the great Roman Empire? Or is it Eastern Roman Empire? Is it the culture of Mycens, Helens, Minoans? Or is it the great civilisation of Mesopotamia, the Hittites, Asyrrians, babylon, Urartu, Phrigia? Are you talking about Macedonians, or is it Etruscan or even Kartagian? Is it Armenian, or the Seldjuks you are talking about? Is it Brits, the Anglosaxons, or the Huns who conquered north europe by the 5th century? Is your "european culture" represented by the Avars, or the Lombardians? Is it the Mongols that came and eradicated large areas in the 13th, is it Bulgars, or is it the AustroHungarians?

Did you even look at a european map and see the "civilisation" 2 millenias before...do you see the void there? Do you even realize the name of the white race comes from caucasus?

What an ignorant and pathetic approach! Disgusting!
