Artūras Jomantas (Lietuvos Rytas) had a succsesful left shoulder surgery yesterday (in Austria, Althofen clinic). It seems that he'll be ready to join the team in 4 months. One day the tides will turn
One day the fields will burn
One day the seas will churn

The best Zalgiris' player so far this season (and pre-season) P.Jankunas sprained his ankle yesterday in a game vs ASK Riga and as reported will be out for atleast 3 weeks, so that means that he most probably won't play in first EL game vs PAO.

It's a bit weird: After Patrick Femerling had a series of illnesses and repeated minor injuries since the Olympics, Euroleague Team ALBA Berlin today anounced that Femerling "won't be available for the team until further notice". Femerling will get a special program with physiotherapy and fitness training instead to rebuild his physical strenght cautiously.

Jasmin Hukić of Union Olimpija has injured his foot (tendon inflamation). He is out already for more than a week and yet they still don't know how long he won't be able to practise and play.
Vlado Ilievski of Union Olimpija is also slightly injured.Last edited by elaj; 10-08-2008, 04:38 PM.
