Yes, ESPN broke it all down correctly through his agent. $27 million US dollars gross over 3 years.

Yeah, I broke up the thread into its own, not Cheezdoodle. Hey, not everyone goes through the EL Signings and Rumors so I am bringing the news to the masses (outside of the Europe Regional forums)!

Former Detroit Piston Carlos Delfino joins Russian team

Posted by Dave Dial July 18, 2008 17:33PM

There were some rumors of Delfino coming back to Detroit, but scratch that idea off the list. Delfino received a fairly large 3-year deal with BC Khimki.
July 18, Detroit Free Press: Former Piston Carlos Delfino has signed a three-year deal with BC Khimki according to Eurocupbasketball.com.. The Pistons had been rumored to be interested in the 6-6 shooting guard earlier in the free agent signing period.
Carlos will be joining some other former NBA players such as Maciej Lampe, Daniel Ewing, Kelly McCarty and Pat Burke, on his new Russian team. The Russian team said this is one of the most important signings ever.
July 18, bckhimki.ru: BC Khimki signed a 3-years contract with Olympic Champion, the guard of National team of Argentina Carlos Delfino. The signature of this contract has become one of the most important operation in Europe... "I am so excited about joining Khimki" -- said Delfino. -- I really wanted to play in Europe again. Khimki has a very ambitious project and they are on their way to becoming one of the strongest teams in Russia and in Europe. I'm going to give it all I have".

For those who doubted cheezdoodles information: Delfino announced his way to europe. "At the end of the day I had two firm offers: Detroit Pistons an Khimki." He choose the better one. On Monday some russian officials will travel to Madrid, where Argentinia will play a friendly game against Spain. There the contract is to be signed.

I say this to many time, but all greek and russian user said who I'm jealous!!
Is crazy pay or think to pay 2M € for Moiso at Dynamo, 1,3M € for Vasilopoulos at Oly, 3M € for Jasikevicius at Pana, and all salary over 1M €.

this is a damage for european basket because this isn't the real value for this players

since some people have inside informations, please don't bug everyone with demanding a source. You'll learn with some time who to trust and to whoom not.

    Everybody:
    -don't post one liners
-don't post 2 short messages in a span of 3 minutes
-some people won't reveal their source and constantly demanding "source" becomes annoying for most people reading this thread
-read again the first post with Rikh posting up the guidelines for this kind of threads and try to stick to it.

    thanx

Delfino won't see such money. He will get 2.8M€ per season. That's like 5M$ per season.
