He makes a lot of turnovers and his handles are very questionable. He does play last month like he is on the steroids but he wouldn't be dominant at all in the EL like he is in the ABA league. He is huge prospect and for me the best option for him would be team like Ulm, Gran Canaria...some team in the EC where he would do that that next step. He is still so young. NBA would be the worst and if he goes to Zvezda...idk, fans want results, I think he doesn't need team where he plays 10-15 mins at this stage of his career and where foreigners would probably play before him.
As for Djurisic, he absolutely can create for himself whatever shot there is, the problem was his efficiency, not his creation. But that has changed dramatically in the last 2 months of the season. It's exactly his handles, slashing and ability to create separation at 6'7 that makes me very high on him as a prospect.
I wouldn't have anything against if he can play serious minutes in good Eurocup level teams like Ulm or Gran Canaria. But I think Raznatovic will try hard to get him contract in NBA as soon as next season. If no NBA, I heard Euroleague is next option. Zvezda is strongly going after him and I doubt Raznatovic is letting him without getting 20 mpg. Considering Zvezda's horrible scouting, that might be the best thing they can do.

There is no comparison between Plavsic and Djurisic in terms of upside and impact, even right now. Last 2 months in ABA league showed that very clearly.

He makes stupid fouls. He is not good 3 pt shooter. I have watched him 50 times and I don't remember the time when he created 1 vs 1 good shot for him from the 3 pt line. Mid range shots okay, but 3s no. The advantage he has in ABA league will disappear in the EL in a second. Plavsic on the other hand plays perfect p&r, he is great rebounder, is very good athlete and if he works on his mid range or even 3 pt shot then he can be perfect for the EL. Only problem for Zvezda is that he is now just lob threat.
Prior to the last game vs Zvezda, Djurisic was 20-40 from the the 3 point range in the last 10 games, including ABA league playoffs. So, tell me what have you been watching? Those shots came mostly from pull ups, step backs, off the dribble shots. We know he ain't a spot up shooter because ball is always in his hands. So, what do you think how he made those threes?
Athleticism, physicality, slashing, quick first step, finishing through contact...those skills are already at Euroleague level.
As for turnovers, those are classic turnovers of a young player who does a lot of ballhandling. Nothing to worry about.

I'm afraid his defense will be very much exposed vs Euroleague talent. Also, his bully ball and finishing around the rim vs Euroleague centers...lets just wait and see. I do hope that he makes it.

I think you are a litttle bit overestimating Djurisic, i mean yes he really had a great end of the season with Mega but you talking like he is legit EL player (even leader?) and that he is better player then solid EL player at his positions (SG/SF).
You cant compare Nedovic handles and creating space for himself with Djurisic, Nedovic can do that much better on EL level then Djurisic on ABA level. Tbh i am not big fan of Nedovic and for me he is not champion player but when he "wants to play" (going hard on the rim) he can be one of the most interesting guards in EL even now. Djurisic looks like more versatile player then Nedovic but he need a lot more to do to be close to Nedovic and EL guards level.
Bolomboy - Plavsic - Mitrovic is not EC lineup. I am not saying that i would be happy with it but this is not that bad lineup. Bolomboy is one of the best two-way centers in Europe. For me he is best and most costant player for Zvezda this season. I would be okay with this on 5th poistion only if we sing some monster on 4, like Shengelia but i think that is not realistic so lets wait and enjoy transfer window at summer.

He still isn't creating for himself anything except mid range shots. Ilyasoglu and Miljenovic have most of the time ball in their hands if Djurisic doesn't play ISO. Let me see that his 1st step and finishing in the EL...it's not the same to finish over Fall, Tavares, Lessort...tha over Shahkov, Zganec and other crap. He averages 0.3 assists more than turnovers. Let me see what coach will allow young guy to gave classic turnovers as you said...Sfairopoulos won't or he will be fired. Djurisic is big prospect but still raw for the EL. He will make the best path for his career if he goes in the EC or team like Alba in the EL but whatever we will see.
I'm not saying he should play Euroleague immediately, only that considering Zvezda's awful sports management and scouting, they might as well try with Djurisic. They can't do worse than this season.

Juancho relqxing before f4 with micic at greece. Giannakopoulos has said that he will bring 2 people with contract over 3 millions per year and both had some kind of connection with loserbiakos and a roster better than 2009.
One is hezonja, even though 3 is too much but its not my money and his performance last season at the final.
The other one could be tavares but seems he will stay in madrid. So there are 2 people left that have some connection with loserbiakos. Micic and vezenkov. We are looking for top tier guard anyway, vildoza will be gone, probably back to red star.
Sloukas,micic,grant,nunn,thrashonis,moraitis
hezonja,papapetrou,kalaitzakis
juancho,mitoglou,samodoruv
lessort,theiss, antetokunbo.
Thats looks like a good roster with potential that would match ataman's gameplan and efes roster when they won everything.

I don't see Micic coming at all. He has guaranteed contract in the NBA. He finally plays great and was playing a lot. Hornets will suck again this season. Ok, Lamelo will come back but Micic will be backup. Vezenkov is maybe a different story but still very tough. I hope Hezonja is the secured, idc about the 2nd player as long as Nunn stays. Would take CMC immediately instead of Vildoza. 2nd C needs to be good!

First the way he left out team, then his performance at end of the season with us... Then some of his statements and at the end he had awful season in PAO and injures.
Btw, it seems that Lorenzo Brown will leave Maccabi and is in talks with Real Madrid. Campazzo, Brown backcourt...sheesh3rd, Euroleague IBN prediction game 2019

today PAO beat PAOK in overtime and went to the semi-finals of the championship. Kevin Porter Jr. in his last game with PAOK made a triple double with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.
In 6 games total with PAOK he had 22ppg, 9.2reb, 6.7ass, 2.8st, 1block and 29.3pir. Not bad at all. Also was elite defensively and in creation.
In his statements, he said that if he doesn't find a team in the NBA, he would like to stay at Paok next season.
now i can ask.......is there a player of this level in Europe with such a small contract? Would a Euroleague team deserve to trust him? He is the jack pot under the radar of the Greek euroleague teams?
in the NBA no one will give him a chance anymore because of his history.......but to be fair his behavior in the two months with PAOK was ideal. Also the issue of behavior is something that is easily solved with a clause in his contract. I believe that his motivation is huge and if someone made the move with him he would not lose.Last edited by zubitos; 05-19-2024, 02:03 AM.

Vildoza per some sources done deal for Zvezda on 2 years contract. This might be the best thing I have heard through whole month! We will see will Panathinaikos try for Lorenzo immediately with that heavy buyout Maccabi is looking for or maybe wait summer... I would rather sign Miller-McIntyre than Lorenzo but that's just me
