Hezonja has some similarities with Jokic, he ubderstand basketball as job and he will doing as much as he can to win and to be the best for the team, without too much emotions.. I don't think he is a nationalist too/

But yes he is weird. Not crazy weird like wilbeclown as he won't touch his shoes 150 times per game, but in terms of some statements about his future and living somewhere alone without phone, then probaly yes

Oh my God I laughed so much when I saw that interview. And then I think next summer(I think he gave that interview while he was in Unics) he was guest in one show in Croatia and anchor asked him is that true and he said it is and explained everything. He even showed his contacts in the phone and he has like 12 contacts...he is so weird guy

Btw he is nationalist. When he played for Croatia like 7, 8 years ago he said he will die for that jersey the same way his uncle died from Serbians...something like that. His father fought in the war also and was defending Dubrovnik. He is member of Croatian war heroes and his mother is (or was I am not sure) member of Croatian nationalist party. In Dubrovnik everyone says they are very far right oriented and that he had in the elementary school always hateful statements towards Serbians.

People could change during years. I may be wrong, but I don't have such impression.

When you mentioned Obradovic, remember him from 95 and EC in Greece, I will just say he changed a lot

You can't compare grown men in 95' and 20 yo guy in 2015...but never mind. That's different topic. I still want Hezonja in Pao even though I would take Wilbeking and Melih in heartbeat before him!!!

Melih would be starting SG in any team if he doesn't like this much Fener. He stays in Fener even though he can play anywhere else because he loves Fener so much but he doesn't play because of Kokoskov Boys! Itoudis and Saras doesn't like him because he is 10000 bigger in eyes of Fener fans than them 2!

(Radja had some bad statmentes about Serbians, Edgar i am sure u know about it :P) and Radja never played for Partizan. I am not saying that they should boo every Croatian player in Belgrade but if they are consider themselfs as Serbians they cant applaude to people who had very bad statements for Serbians. Krunoslav Simon was in Arena for some Zvezda game and he didnt got either booed or applauded, and i think he is really great guy and didnt have any nationalists outburst ever.
What? Not pure Serbian? Did Vucic tell you that? LOL

Do you understand at which historic, political time both Partizan and Zvezda were founded? Tehnically, both are Yougoslavian clubs. Their names alone tell you about historic circumstances and political state in which they were founded. Names 'Partizan' and 'Zvezda' have absolutely nothing to do with purely Serbian folklore and tradition. Those names come from communist party and their ideology. If we go by your logic, not one single club from Serbia, Croatia...are purely Serbian or Croatian...aside from few exceptions.

The reason why Partizan is consdered as more liberal club is not because they are recognized as more 'Yougoslavian', but because Zvezda has been forcing fake nationalistic narrative as suppossed 'pillar' of Serbian sports community or even society, to please and satisfy fake nationalist Vucic and the criminal entourage around him. That is why Partizan is way more likeable in Ex-Yu region, especially nowadays. That, and of course, due to fact that Partizan is just bigger name than Zvezda in basketball.

Regarding people who had bad statements during war times, can we assume that some of them have changed? Speaking about both Serbians and Croatians. What happened in the past should stay in the past and we should allow people to change. After all, no one knows anything about them and their intimate thoughts. If they say one thing and think another, that's shame on them and are not even worth a mention.

Hahahah what Vucic have to do with all of it?
I think you also forgot to mention Covic somehow in this discussion ..
Tbh if i didnt read your username, i would never think that you are Serbian after this post..
Crvena Zvezda is founded at today's Serbia, Belgrade. I am not sure if Partizan is founded there or not.

This was really weird one from you.. So we (I mean Serbians, not sure if u are one of them) should applauded those people who had so bad natonalists comments about Serbian people like they are our legends? Like i said, i agree that we dont have to live in past and have animosity towards each others, lets say now on forum animosity with us and Edgar, that would be stupid and sad but we really cant applaude and praise guys who had bad war comments about our people.

How we could know Edgar isn't nationalist, how we could know what he wrote all those years on other forums. Should we believe him on his word? Maybe he said something much worse then Hezonja, but he isn't public person

Until now he showed big hate, not against Serbians though, but seems to me he is big hater of muslims in general, Turks, Arabs etc. Half-Greek roots saved him maybe to be like Hezonja father

I never saw he wrote a single nice word about Turkey, he hides his hate behind mask of sarcasm. I hope Jazz will understand that one day

Crvena Zvezda...what ideology created that name? Or better say which ideology does that name imply to when we think about it. Does it come from Serbian folklore or Serbian Royal tradition? No. Same goes for Partizan. Thank you. I guess I'm more Serbian than you assume.

About Vucic...come on bro, let's not get there. This is not place for that.

If we applaud to Kukoc or Radja, or whoever, we don't applaud them as Serbians, but as someone who once shared the same country and made history of sports together with us. I don't see anything wrong in that. Now, I can't read anybody's thoughts and state of mind, so I give them benefit of a doubt. It's better to believe that people can change. Otherwise, you are stuck in the mud.
