  • What is your problem mate it's just personal opinion. For instance I don't think think Edwards belongs in same sentence with those you named or you evaluate just numbers?
Btw what's Nunn doing on your counter list? Carlik is 2nd best after him, I thought it's obvious

How is that? Vezenkov, Fournie, Hayes-Davies, Nunn, Shorts, Edwards...All are better. Even if you mean only guards, it's still not close. Even in Partizan Brown has almost the same numbers in EL.
Janketa a little bit exaggerated about Carlik quality, but he is definitely top level EL guard.
He is way better then Sterling Brown, Brown is highly overrated, really low IQ player.

I found that opinion wrong. What's the problem? That's discussion.

I don't evaluate only numbers, I just don't ignore a superb season by Edwards.

13/3/2 on 59/48/93 shooting splits plus good defense. Underrated is the word you are looking for.

I dont think so, Nedovic last season had 14/2/3 on 55/41/87 and he was the biggest problem in our game (and this season also) and he sold many games like Brown already did this season.
He is not good defender, he never was at his career, he is solid defender at his best. But Partizan fans like to present that their solid guard defenders like they are Gary Payton in his prime.
I mean what i read about Arijan Lakic is hilarious, the truth is that is similar situation was with Stefan Lazarevic in Zvezda, but those things is funny to me.

You are probably implying on Brown's turnovers vs Zvezda in the last two games, but tell me please were those the only games that Brown played in the last two months? You present it like he had 30 such turnovers while in fact I can't remember any such turnover in entire season.

Comparing Nedovic to Brown? Physicality, availability, usage, decision making...it's not comparable in terms of impacting actual team performance. Nedovic had similar numbers as Brown last season and Zvezda finished in bottom 5 or something like that. How do you compare that to Brown who has been playing 30+ minutes in the last couple of months in shortened backcourt rotation without Marinkovic, Ntilikina and Lungberg in most games, while Partizan is something like 12-4 during this span with Brown being the most efficient and by far the best shooter in this stretch...and he sold many games? Exactly opposite, without Brown, Partizan's season in Euroleague would have been long finished. Without Marinkovic and Ntilikina as best guard defenders, who do you think played defense in that backcourt? Brown deserves every bit of praise for his play in both ways in the last couple of months. His turnovers are the product of heavy usage rather than bad decision making, that is not his problem overall. The type of player that usually sticks to what he does best - shoot the ball.

I don't know what exactly Partizan's fans think of Lakic but I do know that he has tremendous physicality for a guard. In short stretches he can be very valuable and definitely a plus defender, which he already demonstrated in some important games in Euroleague. And no, I don't think he is Gary Payton.

I didnt compared Nedovic game to Brown game, i just gave u answer about mention Brown statistics and telling it like a strong fact.
I mean, if you as Partizan fan find him great, i really have nothing wrong to say about it, i think that he is player for Alba or Asvel where he can play his game, be on 15+ points and not really be stressful about team results.
If we talking about his sold games, i am more then sure that he sold at least one more EL game because he didnt sucess to inbound ball to court in last seconds (like he did against Zvezda twice). Also i remember that he missed some important shots but like i said, if u are satisfied with him as Partizan fan like u are satisfied with Zeljko who is literally humilaited by Sfairopolous for those two seasons i dont find anything bad about it.

Bro, what are you talking about? His stat is a strong fact because it comes out of winning, unlike Nedovic's stats that come out of losing (talking about last season). It's a big difference and pretty obvious.

Brown is having far better season than he had with Alba last year and you are suggesting that he should play "his game" for bottom tier team while he is proving to be the player for a playoff caliber team. I mean...what?

I don't know about other fans, but I'm pretty satisfied with Obradovic (and Brown of course) for obvious reasons...the same reasons why Zvezda's fans can't stand Obradovic LOL. Do I need to remind you that this season is far from over and that major games are yet to be played? And from what I'm seeing, I might be wrong, but I think Partizan has deeper team and by the end of season it will be even more obvious. However, I like Sfairopoulos very much, I think he is a good coach and a gentleman, but let's just wait the end of season.

I wish i can say this also for ur coach but you as Serbian and a guy who speaks Serbian and watch press conferences before and after derby games u can get why i think otherwise.
I mean why u think that Zvezda fans cant stand Obradovic? In last 12 derby games we have 11 wins, since Obradovic came back at Partizan, Partizan won just only one trophy and Zvezda won 9 of them. Believe me or not, i really wish him to stay at Partizan for many many years, i just find disrespectfull his behaviour at conferences and every time trying to belittles opponent win and cant accept lose. He was creating ambient that Serbian cup does not matter anything before the game and on the court he is trying to die for that ''unmatter'' cup (which he should of course), pretty hypocritically.

You are right, Major games will be played in the future, but one and most impornat Major game so far was played 2 days ago and we taken that W.
ABA league is not a big deal for me since they dont give a guaranteed EL sport anymore and i would like that speculation about Serbian teams left ABA league and creating Serbian league with best clubs next season is true.
I am noticed that u follow KLS and even lower Serbian leagues so i wonder what is ur opinion about ABA league faliure and potential creation of Serbian league with best clubs next season?

Zvezda's fans can't stand Obradovic because his name is written over Partizan's biggest success - Eurolegue title. Simple as that.

I think Serbian Cup is important, but I don't think Obradovic was dismissing the value of the Cup itself, he was dismissing entire organization of Serbian Cup, quality of referees in the first place. Everything associated with the name of Nebojsa Covic must be suspicious, in my opinion LOL

About KLS...I'm totally for professionalization of KLS, but not necessarily for dismissing ABA league. I mean, sure, if we can find enough money for various clubs in KLS and revitalize some other regions, improve infrastructure and having guaranteed place in Euroleague and other Europen Cups...that would be ideal situation. But there is no point coming back to KLS with this kind of organization and lack of funds. There is a lot to be done before we think of ABA league as not necessary. But we should work in that way, basketball in Serbia deserves much better domestic league.

                      • Guys, I like Brown but he isn't that level needed to be even mentioned as one of the best EL players. I see Dreamcatcher even thinks that Edwards deserves to be candidate. That just shows how opinions are different in weird ways. My vote is for Jones without any doubt and I am sure he will prove that soon
