And if things go bad in shooting, he is a total destruction both offensively and defensively. Kalaitzakis is more useful than him. Unfortunately they rushed to renew grigonis without any particular reason. We could have taken dorsey for example, who does pretty much the same things with grigonis and has proved in crucial games that he shows up, something grigonis never did. + a greek passport to get another foreigner. No wonder the cyclist is 30 years old and this is the first time he plays for a f4 team (in csska he was like the 5th guard) doing pretty much nothing.

    My roster would be
    Sloukas-Jones-Moraitis
    Nunn-Dorsey (now grigonis)-Grant
    Hezonja-Papapetrou
Juancho (he should be the starter and not mitoglou)- mitoglou - Mantzoukas
    Lessort - Theiss - Antetokunbo

If they choose to have 7 foreigners instead of 8 to keep the same roster in greece, then i think we will go for calathes. With all those shooter around him+lessort who is probably the best pick n roll big guy after batiste, he should be fine for 15 minutes to end his career as he should be, playing for the euroleague favorites to try and get another title. he deserves it more than anyone else playing in the league right now
Colson is mismatch for a lot of teams at SF. Papapetrou is one of the few guys that can match him with the size. And wihout Grigonis we would have literally 5 less wins. Monaco away, Asvel away, Efes at home, Virtus away...
But I agree he needs to play on SG. Then we need starting SF. Papapetrou can play at least 15 minutes per night without any problem. Juancho and Grigonis can help also if something unexpected happens. But if you put Grigonis on SG you have him, Sloukas, Grant, Nunn and one more guy. I kinda feel sorry for Vildoza but idk...he has huge upside and maybe after the season he will become new player like Grigonis became. I don't wont Dorsey at all. He will have the same treatment like Kyle Guy did. Calathes fits all the boxes what we need. Not the starting guy. Good defender, playmaker, good lockeroom guy...I wouldn't have anything against him being here next year instead Vildoza with SF like Hezonja coming. And about C, I agree with the comment above. I am not huge fan of Tavares also. Lessort will play much less...I want backup not starting C. Poirier would be perfect imo or someone who can stretch the floor, pass the ball and not be the biggest hole in the defense...something like Voigtmann...damn even Thiemann.

There is also ibaka. He looked in good shape, still a beast in the defence, can stretch the floor, he can pass, offer rim protection, rebounds, pass the ball and of course he has huge experience in playing for teams with aambitions. But i think giannakopoulos and ataman will try and make a roster that will be even better than real's with stars in every position, starting or backup. So if they a chance for tavares, they will get him.

For the greek league some wrote about khem birch coming to replace balcerowski for the greek playoffs. he currently plays for girona in spain. he seems in an ok situation taking in concern that he hasnt played much since 2022

You can just dream about that my friend, cos Mijatovic is nice polite guy who will keep current roster 99%. But will see, may be he'll become a beast and I eat my words

Nunn official announcement. Nba clause until 15.7. That's great for us. I think he gets the contract that satisfies him only if he destroys everyone at F4 and Greek Final series. With the tax system in the NBA he needs 5M dollars per year contract to be better than what he signed. There is no way he gets that being 29 yo. Exum got 3M per season while being 28 yo and someone who is kinda different player than Nunn...Nunn can offer skilIset that is very common in the NBA, Exum is different. And Nunn definitely wants his role and I can see him as a backup PG at the best in some team like Detroit, Charlotte... I have huge hopes he will stay but even if he doesn't we have whole summer to bring someone to replace him and you have a lot of great free agent guards like Evans, Musa, James...you can pay buyouts for Howard let say and there is always NBA to search. Great, great position for every Panathinaikos fan.

Yo, I forgot Ibaka. He would be very nice. Very, very nice...I just don't want us to happen the same what happened to Efes last year. Too much stars. Lessort at this moment for me is better than Tavares. If you bring Tavares he needs to be starting C with the salary you give him. That means 20 mins max per game for Lessort. Idk, whatever happens it's better than Papagiannis-Gudaitis combo!

Poirier with Larkin would be lovely to watch. If he starts for team like Efes he is 14&7 guy. Something like Lessort. Only problem I have with Voigtmann that he is slow. He might be even slower than Mitoglou!!! And that's not easy to be...Thiemann has to be backup for the contender.

I agree totally. We placed the house on a shaky ground, Larkin (sorry ), and asked a video analyst to build it. There is no place for any decent moves.

As you know I was with whole my hart for him to accept Fener's offer, but both of us failed in our hopes

Rolands Smits close to sign for Efes on a 3 year deal. This is great for Efes.

I thought he was going to Monaco. Anyway, I really like this move if official.

Yeah that's what I've heard too. I've heard nothing about Efes.

i also read that mj willing to sign for 3 more years with monaco if monaco changes the coach and signs calathes. dunno if its true

cedi osman is a basketball player who routinely fails to score from the foul line and will make you lose the game while under pressure. he is mentally weak and overrated.
calathes probably has better a 3-point percentage than cedi osman's free throw percentage and honestly, that's hilarious.
