Can anyone explain me why would Fener sign Samanic? He is very good for the EL and has the perfect skills to be great but Fener already has Hayes, Pierre and Colson can play PF also. Samanic whole career does the stupidest choices for his future but if he signed for Fener that would the dumbest decision ever.

My theory is that they want to recreate what Milano did last season where half the roster were PFs.

Pierre is hybrid forward. Because of his athleticism he can play as PF also. Under Itoudis he played so many minutes on PF. When you have him and Hayes on the court it's the same who will guard what forward. Colson same story. In Pinar he played more on PF, in Maccabi he would start at SF but more minutes he would play at PF because Sorkin and Cohen are made for 20 minutes total per game in the EL. So your comment is complete nonsense not mine. Btw, we will still see about Pierre and Maccabi.

But, I would believe if Fener really signed Samanic to be Hayes' backup because that sounds like something Samanic would do. The most stupid guy ever. He has literally everything to be literally top 3 forwards in the EL and he decides to be backup and play 10 minutes. Instead of coming back last year, he decided why wouldn't he warm the bench in the Utah and now this...I can bet my arm if he signed for let say Zalgiris, Baskonia, even Monaco...where he would play 25-30 minutes per game he would average at least 13-14 pts, 5-6 rebunds per game.
