I agree you need to start from somewhere but Ntilikina? Guy didn't play basketball for literally more than a year. His salary has to be 600, 700k at least. And he didn't upgrade his offense at all in the NBA. He somehow become even more worse shooter than he was before. I am not seeing him in the EL being good playmaker, making plays for the others and averaging 5, 6 assists per game. He is good defender though. If Smith stays even though he isn't natural PG is better option for the backup. Also Lundberg...he is great ball handler. Also is he starting SG for the team that wants to be in the playoffs..
for now it seems that goals of Partizan for the next season might be much lower than I expected

I really wonder how he's going to perform in Europe. In the NBA I saw 0 zero improvement as time went on and also I always noticed him being very hesitant and somewhat "scared".

I have a feeling he'll do well in the EL. He needs to keep his defensive grit and energy, which I assume he still has. it's been several years since I last watched him.

This. Somehow gets a bit overlooked and not talked enough, probably because Spain had so many great guards. But he's on the same tier with Jasikevcius, DD, Spanoulis, Calderon and son and on and is even more flashier and fancier than those guys. A bit of European Jason Williams if you ask me.

the obvious mistake in the roster is the lithuanian lans armstrong who proved that he is worthless when it matters. trash against maccabi, trash in the f4, trash even against other trash from loserbiakos in the greek finals. but they renewed him. hopefully he has kyle guy's role this season, 0-10 minutes/game and more time in greek league

I actually like Ataman's decision to not add another SF. Why ruin whole chemistry again with adding someone that needs 10 shots per game when you already brought Lorenzo who needs his share of shots and minutes. Also when you look at his results you can see that everytime he played with 3 guard lineup he won big trophies. In Besiktas he had those lineups with Arroyo-Kemp and Hawkins. Also with Akin. Efes, Pao the same. Maybe only in Galata he wasn't using this even though for me Schilb is more SG than SF but okay but sometimes he played with McCollum-Guler-Koksal. Grigonis was great during the regular season and we will see in the playoffs will he be better next year. It depends a lot about matchups. Yes, he wasn't good against Colson but on the other hand if we played against Monaco or Barca it would be other story which he showed during the regular season games against them. Anyway, I trust Ataman. And this is also good because this means Papagiannis ain't coming back. 2 foreigners out - 2 foreigners in. 7 total, that's the best option. I just hope it won't be Motley.
