Agree with this. Spanoulis was chucking quite a bit, it was Oly's rock solid team defense in those years that allowed Spanoulis to find his rhythm in games that he was underwhelming. Nothing to take away from him though, a great competitor. Calathes can't shoot, but when it comes to playmaking he is better than Spanoulis, while Diamantidis and Papaloukas are better than both.

I think Saras needs to adjust his coaching style a bit for his next job. Putting aside his temperament which isn't suited to this generation of players, he micromanages his teams way too much. I read somewhere recently he has close to 75 offensive sets which is a ridiculous amount for any team to run.

I agree with this generally, but interesting that he leads EL with successful drawn offensive sets during a timeout. So whatever he draws in timeouts, that works.
