Exactly,James is like Shved, and i probably agree of having him instead of Calathes ,especially with recent mature James of Monaco ,that plays with more brain than he used to do in the past.
However as the clock is ticking his brain in crunch time tends to black out and see nothing but the basket, even this year.
    let's see on Friday.
Common guys!!Final 4 is coming..no turkish teams,no Maccabi no party in the forum.
Actually it is very interesting the fact that this is the first time since 2014!! without a turkish club in final 4

I have to admit I enjoy this. Nothing against Fener, Efes, Maccabi, but sometimes it feels that EL forum is all about these teams. When PAO was great it was the same with Greek posters. Now no-one exceeds on one team too much.
LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

      Jokubaitis, Marciulionis, Laurencikas
      Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
      Buzelis, Lelevicius
      Murauskas, Sirvydis
      Tubelis, Krivas

that's the fate of the forums in general I'm afraid.
I do miss the good old days, even the chaotic ones with several bans per hour.

it could indeed get annoying with a lopsided fanbase, but this is not better. Too quiet.

Itoudis had Oly locked down offensively in the whole series.Great tactical aproach.I dont think Monaco can do it that way with Obradovic.Their sheer athleticism could though.Oly has to face the paradox which is the fact that he needs to run and have a high tempo so our offence can really produce but,on the the other hand you want a slower tempo against such a team as Monaco. Its a real tough match up for Oly and if i had to put my money on it i would lean to Monaco. They have 3 quality guys that can make the individual plays if things dont work.Oly has hardly one and a half (McKisic cant really shoot).
I really dont like Barcelona.I dont like Real also. Its a 50-50 for me here, who knows, maybe the old guys from Real have a last spark.
Money on the line, its Barca-Monaco.Barca wins.

you are absolutuley correct my friend, the interst has generally dropped here and
            especially in the Fantasy aspect
,the current game format definitely doesn't help at all.
i am hoping next year finally they will bring back the old format or at least something close to that.

They won't. They didn't like how the same players were always on the top. The game was too difficult for random players, no chance to do anything with just luck, and they want mass to play the game.

But I had to admit that first price was really something special, to have all the access, even to be on the court after the final game is really something that cannot be bought.

Why Euroleague sucking so bad lately? They ceased to broadcast ANGT games live...They can even show youngsters games for free? Bodiroga sucks balls so far. I knew he will be horrific. Random standards regarding awards. Silly decision regarding ANGT. He brought good old "Serbian/Eastern europe" standards on the table. Expected.

By the way, you have ANGT live on Youtube, you just have to wait a bit until they begin to broadcast, as was the case last year too.

Watch the biggest basketball prospects gathered in Kaunas for the Adidas Next Generation Tournament. After Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic or Nikola Jokic, ...

OK, it's premature claim, but how about completely out of hand Rising Star award? Madar was worse in regular season and way worse in playoffs than Jokubaitis, f.e. What kinda of standard is that? I think Partizan standard.

                      Thanks for the link.

Let's assume Jokubaitis was robbed of Rising Star award, what in the hell Serbian/Eastern "standards" have got anything to do with that? Jokić got robbed of third straight MVP award because of tendentious racial narratives from some media members in USA...How do you call these Western standards then? Don't make bad generalizations like that.

As for Jokubaitis, not a big deal that he didn't win this year because he had already won it last year, which was a lot better and more impactful season for him than this year. And Bodiroga is bad because he didn't give it to Jokubaitis. Come on. And he surely isn't the one alone who decides who is winning those awards at all levels.

Fair, it's premature claim, but a first symptom that a little bit of good old values my be on the map for EL with Bodiroga - "I'm the boss here and I decide" culture. Just an assumption thus far, but it has to be said. It doesn't matter whenever Jokubaitis already had that award, the criterion should be clear. Jokubaitis is way better player ATM than Madar, it's barely a comparison. Madar is galaxies away from Jokubaitis BB culture, I dear to claim. He;s ahead in terms of reading the game from those 22yo guards, both NBA and Europe.

Actually most fans make fun of NBA because of that decision. Specially how Jokic dominates NBA in playoffs. I do think Americans have and very obvious bias regarding their own players. They want Americans, preferably black American player cause NBA is black guys league generally, to be the best in the league. You can see how Barkley underrated Wemby It's the same story as with Doncic. Wemby gonna be absolute freak in NBA if he will stay healthy.

I don't know how you came to this conclusion. Have I missed something or did Bodiroga say or do something to make you believe it's like that? I mean, I'm not advocating for Bodiroga, just pointing out that you are jumping to conclusions without any valid ground. And I'm pretty sure Bodiroga is not weighing in whether Jokubaitis or Madar should get the award, there are lots of other people in Euroleague from Eastern and Western Europe who are impacting those decisions. He was the boss as a player though, I give you that

The answer is clear,Joku is not any more a RISING star,
he got the trophy,he is a part of a big team with a role and well known to everybody.
It is not his first year in Euroleugue, more likely a veteran i would say

It's not that simple. MJ has won only 1 MVP before he has won his first ring. And he never won 3 in a row. Nba is a business, those awards are tactical decisions many times. Sure Jokic was the best, but Embiid as the best scorer was near enough to gave him the award. Jokic doesn't even care about that, he wants just to win a title and all doubters will shut up.

Kendrick Perkins is being destroyed by Jokic in playoffs.
