Interesting that the same situation was in 3rd game when Guduric made his shoot a little bit early. Llull made exactly the same, even gameclock was the same, even Sloukas was one who took shoot after that, but seems that Oly used their amount of luck against Fener.

Psychological situation was different though.

About the MVP, Tavares played 35' managing to keep Fall to 0 points committing only 2 fouls, 13 pts with 10 rebs. A masterpiece of a performance. I admire El Chacho and the soul of the others who decided the game at the end but for the best F4 player the choice couldn't have been different.

i aggre with you 100%,but that is what they were saying back then after loosing the second final against Maccabi for LLull Sergio and Rudy.Like now they are doing for Oly players,Veze is characterized as a roll mediocre player and we all saw his great performance yesterday,or Sloukas is a mediocre guard with 9 finals and 3 titles and many many clutch winning shots,For God s shake he is doing something right to be there almost every year,there is no luck on it. We have the tendancy to judge people very hursh depending on a lucky winning shot or an unlucky lost one.
Last year again Real lost a final and again everyone was too old or too little to wear Real jersay. This year again they are heroes.This is Basketball

If you look at yesterday's Real roster, it's evident that quality of Euroleague has gone down. Yes, it's the same 3 players for Real, but they were in their prime 10 years ago, now they have 110 years together and are still key players.

About Sloukas, he has really won 3 titles, but he has never won it as the leader of a team. He averaged 5.5 points in those 3 wins. He made only 3 FGs in this F4.

About Vezenkov, cool player, everyone would be extremely happy to have him. He deserved MVP. Problem is elsewhere. Can you imagine kids, not big Oly fans, buying his shirt? No way. He's unmarkable, like the whole Euroleague. You look at Vezenkov and see a role player, extremely important one, but still a role player. He can't be the face of the league.

He's just relieved that Llull has finally caught up with Sloukas in terms of Euroleague titles won.

Tell me which objective person, would put Sloukas in front of Llull? I don't believe that even many Oly fans would. For sure no Fener fans.

What is left to be said for Llull, Rodriguez and Rudy? They might annoy the shit out of me but you can only sit back in awe of their sheer tenacity and refuse to lose mentality. It's crazy how they can still play when their balls weigh 200kg Shot after shot, you know that when it matters, these dudes are gonna show up.

Oly was the best team of the season playing very attractive basketball but in the end Real got one of the most incredible titles in history (missing important players, coming back from 0-2, winning over FCB and then over Oly). Respect to these guys, but I won't miss them when they finally retire

To be fair that’s a flaw of the ticket selling system used by EuroLeague. They should wait until the four teams are confirmed before selling the non-host country tickets, that would ensure a more even spread of fans.

Real Madrid fans are not going to this event. I was there many times and I have never seen more than few Real fans. It's always only Greek and Turks. I remember 2009 in Berlin, where there were basically only Pao and Oly fans. I had tickets in Pao section. Just incredible, fantastic experience.

It wasn't the same situation. Fener had minimum overtime assured, when you're behind you might shoot a bit earlier to have possibility for offensive rebound.

It's interesting to look at +/-. Musa was far the worst in Real and he was consequently benched. Great job by the coach. Chacho the best. The worst in Oly was Sloukas. Canaan far the best.

That's just excuses. In greek fora you would find fans that were trying to coordinate to arrive in nearby cities (like Riga) and then carpool to Kaunas. As Bob said, there is just not enough interest. Real had less attendance than Alba this year.

It doesn't matter, no matter what you won't see Spanish fans anywhere. And it's not much better with Cska fans. Greeks or Turks have basically home court advantage every time.

actually not all Turks,only Fener fans.Efes usualy has very few fans,like last year in Belgrade.Also Maccabi fans are always there in big numbers
I believe they must give a prize in these people which are going,without them the Final 4 would be like a covid season match with 2.000 people
