Before Saras Barca didn't make f4 for how many years? F4 is tricky. That's why i would love to see final and semifinal series. Not so exciting probably, but at least the strongest team could be found out.

I am just saying if he intends to hold Kuric out of game like last F4, Barca could fail again. Forcing Lapro on that position( in Higgins absence) could easily break his neck

Kuric is guy for 25+ minutes in any EL team.

You're unbelievably overrate super limited, predictable, soft player (bad defender) who recently had his own issues with injuries and huge slumps. Recently showed some life, but far from a guy to point out. One trick pony role player. End of the story.

Lapro is better? If your answer is yes then that's end of story for me too, we obviously don't have anything to discuss anymore

You seriously ask this? Lapro always was good combo guard. He's second most efficient Barca's guard. Kuric at this point is no-body with 4,2eff. Just a role player to chuck up some spot up threes. BTW, Tobey, Abrines, Jokubaitis shooting threes better than Kuric this season. I have no idea why we are talking about Kuric seriously. Just another role player from the bench. He's 10th or 11th player by efficiency in Barca.

You had to add 'in mediocre teams'. Before Barca he had 2 attempts to play in EL: in Basconia and Real and both times he failed. And only last season at 31 he had a good season. But for me he's very questionable: soft, small and not fast. Not a player you want in important and physical games. He was almost non-existant in play offs.

In Real he wasn't all that bad. In Barca better though.

Kuric deserves to play some minutes if necessary. The coaches should try not to restrict the roster too much, we have recent examples which confirm this.

S.Obradovic risked losing to Maccabi because he tried to keep James on court at all costs, did you notice the unbelievable improvement when he decided at last to bench him? On the other hand Katash is accused of keeping L.Brown till the end of the game forgetting DiBa, and rightly so.

I could add the latest game Phila-Miami, Rivers overutilized his stars, at the end they were visibly exhausted.

You probably mean Philadelphia:Boston? There's no way you will ever seen stars in Nba being benched in the end of important games, no matter what.

Yes you are right, Phila-Boston of course. Embid and Harden couldn't breathe in the last quarter, they were so tired.

Strazel performed very well during James absence for disciplinary reasons. I really don't understand why S.Obradovic insists on James so much even when it is clear that he damages the team. Against Olympiakos he must review his beliefs.

Harden has looked like this since the first game of the regular season .

I agree Monaco looked much better when Mike James had to take a break, and that he is more harmful than helpful to this team. but he's a controversial player on every platform, among the fans and apparently among the coaches, too.

Mike James and Nick Calthes are the most controversial players in Euroleuague, with many fans and many who are thinking that are a big liability for their teams.i tend to agree with the second opinion.I think 9/10 coaches would like James or Calathes in the last minutes of a game in the leading role of a team because Calathes obviously has no threat from the perimeter and James especially in the past is loosing his mind often. However Monaco make the extra step with him as a leader

I can agree but James numbers against Maccabi weren't that controversial. 8/37 3pts in five games, 21,62%.

                            El Season 27,4%.

People watching the last game of the series perhaps noticed that in the very last minutes when he returned on court, Okobo was trying to keep the ball as long as possible in order to avoid passing it to him lol.

                              correction

"9/10 coaches of the OPPOSITE teams of course"

I would say 10/10 in Calathes' case. James is like Shved was before, big volume with catastrophic efficiency. But I would still rather have James in F4 than Calathes. In 1 game, he can get hot and unstoppable.
