    1. Tavares had 4 fouls in 3rd.

    2. Deep roster? Ndaye didn't play almost anything the whole season. Causeur played first few minutes after being injured 4 months back and Randolph was out 9 months before this playoffs. All those got minutes only because there were nobody else. And then you have 3 over 35 years old players, who were avenging around 5 points in this season. Add Hanga who is averaging 4 points too. That's your depth.

    3. You should ask Obra, why 37 old Sergio outscored the whole Partizan roster in crucial period. I doubt that the answer is not having enough players.
About the last consideration I was thinking exactly the same thing, El Chacho was considered by Armani Milano an old-age pensioner to be released immediately.

It is unbelievable that he was the protagonist against Partizan. I am not certain at all that Obradovic shouldn't be criticized. He had an excellent young and expensive roster at his disposal this year.

    • Partizan lost at the end only because of fight in game 2. Pretty stupid move from Punter despite he is overall best player in both teams and probably top5 in whole competition. And also I must say dirty but smart move from Llull.

Anyway both Fener and Partizan missed big chances for Kaunas.

Causeur hit very important three which is more than Trifunović did for Partizan im 4 minutes, right?

Sergio Rodriguez is still a class. He can't win you a series, but he can win you a game. That's all Real needed from him.
I just want to explain to you that what we have seen from Real in most of this series is not a deep roster team, but very limited team with pretty limited coach, who was more or less cooked. It was more about Partizan not being able to take what was there for taking than anything else.

Partizan was 15 points up in 29th minute, Tavares with 4 fouls. There should be the end.

Chacho has played 66 games this season, Euroleague and Acb, averaging less than 5 points, he has scored only 4 times more than 10 points and never more than 14 points before last game.

I would never expect Partizan to be so close to F4 participation with this roster. For me, this is all Obradovic's accomplishment.

It was more about what happened in G2 rather than anything else. Real was absolutely going to be cooked, but then momentum changed after that brawl, and Real's 15 men roster in whatever form or age worked in their favor. How else could they survive without Deck and Yabusele? Deserved win for Real in G5 though. Partizan gassed out in the end.

They may be 35 or 38 y.o. but they still finished in top 3 this season. Not too shabby for limited roster.

              • I usually i dont agree with Bobby, but real bigs rotation was joke in game 5.

No Deck,No Yabusele,No Poirier and Tavares playing with one healthy leg

They couldnt even play normal small ball and had to play zone defence for most of the game because they didnt even have normal size body at PF to defend Leday

Ndiaye is raw atletic kid that had no clue what to do in such type games no suprise he fauled out like in 10minutes,Randolps legs looked dead with no life.Everytime he played Real went down on score.

Best Real option was to play 4 small players with Tavares and lots of zone defence risking alot of 3point line

Partizan couldnt ask for better chance.Game 5 Real roster they put no chance would have finish top4 in standings in euroleague regular season

Roster with which they played in this series would have big problems to make playoffs.

Roster in which Partizan played games 3 and 4 with injured Exum would finish in lower half of the standings.

You can't pretend that what happened in G2 didn't have any effect for the rest of the series. It worked better for Real than it did for Paritzan.

                      • When we count whole qf series, both team have shown similar quality. Unlike first two games when we are a little bit lucky, from game 3, circumstances is favorable for Real Madrid, with suspensions, tragical situation before game 4.

In close games they are excellent what everybody knows.

I don't understand why people underestimate Real with similar roster last year there were far for one ball from Euroleague title.

Last night, we hadn't win. With Real Madrid's play in 2nd half 16 points advantage is not unreachable.

We couldn't say Real didn't deserve win, as well as Partizan if won we couldn't say it is not deserved.

Quarter finals is very good result for us, as well being close on one game from f4 vs Real Madrid, with so much experience, individual quality, width of roster..

It might for sure, but we will never know. You're seriously downplaying that game 1 was a buzzer beater, it could ended either way, and game 2 without Tavares, meaning Real basically without front court. But in game 5 Partizan had huge advantage playing with full roster and both Yabusele and Deck being out and couldn't capitalised on 18 points lead. Partizan showed dominance you're implying only in game 2, where Real was without front court.

Because he seriously assaulted one of the Partizan players just two weeks ago and is currently suspended from playing for the rest of the season. You don't consider his prominent appearance at this game and behaviour afterwards provocative in that context?

You know that Tavares has problem with his knee too?

Exum's game was heavily hit not only by his injury, but with zone D, which he doesn't exactly like to play against.

He didn't play, he just watched the game as other fans. What should he do, be sad? I'm sure that he's pretty sad not to able to play in F4.

Btw. what do you think was punishment for Batiste?
