Sure ok, but that guy played for us for what? A year and a half?
Maybe it's because I dislike his style but I really don't understand:
1. Why people love him so much and (as an extension)
2. Care about him going to Oly, to the point that they are calling him a traitor, Judas and such.

Hezonja played for Panathinaikos for even less time but PAO fans seem to adore him as well.
I believe they care about James going to Olympiakos because he declares to be PAO fan:

I sincerely never understood the bond between James and some Panathinaikos fans.

To be honest, I am not huge fan of him. It's just weird to see him in the Oly jersey especially after all those comments as a foreigner and he actually made really nice connection with a lot of PAO fans. Also I remember when he played for Milano and then scored unnecessary 3 pt at the end when the lead was like 20 points for Milano in the SEF and after that he had like arguments with their fans... I don't like him because I don't think he is the player who can bring you at the top but still...and him and Bartzokas?? That's going to be even more interesting to watch than DPG and Ataman
P.S - I can see DPG unfollowed him so I can imagine in the 1st round at the OAKA he will have "nice" welcome, maybe even similar like Sloukas in the Piraeus.

Both players are today part of Monaco's roster and I still believe that there is nothing between Oly and James. So the choice will be made on court.

lol. just because itoudis coaches fener, i dont think any greek basketball fans support fener in euroleague. the quote above just shows us that wherever he goes he just cant stop talking about fener. he is always trying to pick on fener and im sure he enjoys it by creating victimization.

oh hell no. i dont care about national team either. if a miracle happens and ataman becomes the coach of fener one day, i will stop even being a fan of the club. ataman is an unpleasant person. i dont even want to walk on the same sidewalk with him.

If he means Turkish people pay more attention to PAO now, yeah, certainly. Supporting, or not, is another matter. Most Fener fans obviously wish him & PAO the worst, Efes fans will probably stay neutral and watch the experiment with intense curiosity, like myself, and some other people will want him & PAO to succeed.
