And what has done Larkin without Micic in his career? Larkin is not Pg, he's undersized Sg, team desperately needs good Pg besides Larkin. Micic was perfect because he was able to create for himself and others, (Calathes would have been a disaster), and he was a big Pg, so he could guard bigger/better player on guard position.

According to SDNA, Panathinaikos pays Gran Canaria half million for the buyout for Balcerowski who will get the same amount (half million).

After all this serial with Punter and Mirotic, I think every source is unreliable until we sign the player

            • Balcerowski is a big gamble but with Sloukas, Grant and Vildoza at PG it should work.

              • I’m a little bit confused about his buy out situation. What was the Monday deadline about if we can get him now?

                  According to this: https://www.sportal.gr/basket/eurole...ada-ton-senter
Gran Canaria accepted the buy out after Monday

Why would Calathes have been a disaster? He is also big PG, strong in defense and obviously complementary player with Larkin.

Because he's spacing killer. Opponents can't leave Micic alone even for a second and he can break down the defense. Playing with Calathes half court offense is like playing 4/5 and you can guess, where defensive focus would be in that case. And even in defensive side Calathes is nowhere near to Micic, he was once upon a time, but his decline in athleticism is very notable too.

Things have changed in basketball, pf has to be good shooter nowadays and it's very nice than even C is capable of shooting some 3s. Non shooting Pgs are extinct.

Efes was winning mostly because they had perfect 1-3 position with trio Micic/Larkin/Simon all 3 capable of scoring and creating for themselves or others. Bigs capable of shooting helped too. Only non shooter was Dunston and it's very questionable, if he's not better shooter than Calathes. He is for sure better in FTs, which is pretty good indicator of shooting capabilities. Calathes career FT% in Euroleague is 53.8%. Last season 38%. Both numbers must be some kind of record for Pg in Euroleague.

                      • mirotic was several times changing conditions for partizan, and the end he wanted 3 years contract(12m), and from partizan agreed even on that.. meanwhile, his wife changed that, coz she wants to live in milano...
at the end, wont be suprsed if he come to partizan, coz no one would give him that money and contract on 3 years..

Simon was bigger factor then Micic you glorify

He was always next to Larkin. When he left and Larkin injured for almost half season, Micic couldn't lead the team , even with Clyburn beside. Efes is disaster without Larkin , Now we will see what will happen without Micic.

Based on your prediction Efes without Micic will be last on the table

Let's see how much longer it will take for Mirotic to decide.. It is said that Monaco has made bigger offer than Panathinaikos for Mirotic, I wonder if it's bigger than Armani.
