Calathes was solid most of the season and it makes no sense to pay him his full contract to leave rather than to keep him as a backup.
This is all on Itoudis. He knew exactly the player he was signing a year ago. And like Toruko wrote, it's not like their new PGs are massive upgrades.

Too bad that Itoudis didn't ask for my advice. I'm a lot cheaper than Calathes and probably better player too.

Itoudis must have been well aware of Calathes' limitations before he signed him for Fener. It's difficult to imagine how he expected this signing to work out much differently.

Its always the same with Calathes. He starts very well and has a downfall after 3-4 month. The problem was never Calathes himself but his role and what he earned in all that time.

Partizan and Zvezda getting money from the State is not your concern, nor it is forbidden by Euroleague. You may not like it but who cares what you think about that. That doesn't give you the slightest right to stop anyone from talking about their teams. Do you understand that both Paritzan and Zvezda are State clubs and were founded in 1945 by the State? So where should they get their money from?

Eleven this time, with Geidraitis and Lavrinovicius who will be there just for domestic games.

Although I don't like the fighting, I do appreciate these discussions because they give an more in depth look into these relationships that is not covered in our countries. I do agree that is offtopic though and it might be annoying to some users. We could create a "Euroleague - Offtopic" topic and go pour our hearts out there. I think it's a bit too much to ask from poor Levenspiel to police this summer thread about transfers.

DPG posted a story on his IG going to the airport and going towards the private jet area. Later he posted a picture from inside a jet. A bit later a jet took of from Athens and is heading north towards Serbia? Someone posted this flight path: https://www.flightradar24.com/C525/3140b1b1 as probably being DPG?

Soft ass Sanli, sleeping pill Papagiannis and short Mobley is at most an average center rotation. The 2-3-4 positions look ok but 1 and 5 are disappointments tbh. Is Raul Neto really an upgrade to Calathes? I really doubt that and this Israeli guy as a backup for F4 ambitions could just be a bad joke.

sorry but this typical antifener approach. if Papagiannis-Sanli-Motley is the most average, I wonder how can center rotation be good. I also don't believe that 1 is disappointment, this is built based on what in the market. there could be better addition such as Napier, but it is still not so bad. Neto, Wilbekin, Nadar, Dorsey, Guduric should still work. Only missing part in Fener`s rotation is Bjelica for me.

Look at the big rotations of the best 6 teams then. Tavares, Mustafa Fall, Milutinov. For the play making: youll give the ball Guduric in his hands and he will turn it over in the most crucial time like always.

Sanli is a 7-8 point guy so Papagiannis is and Motley is a great low post player but cant guard bigger guys. FB is just one thing. Deep nothing more.

I cant say much about the Guduric - Dorsey - Wilbekin and the Pierre - Hayes rotations but the rest is (below average)

one is not better than the other.
whrn backup players on the court, our bench will get 10 points lead againdt any opponent.

compare our bench with the rest in the league,
many teams have more or less equal quality at starters.
but when it comes to the bench, we are way better than the rest.

You my friend need to do a lot better job on reading comprehension because I wasn't fighting with anyone. In fact, I post very rarely on this thread, so rarely that it's impossible to make it suffer. Everything I wrote yesterday turned out to be true and related to this thread, and that discussion was, from my part, very polite.
