European Competitions 2023/24 - Signings & Rumours
Zvevda needs to leave a couple of players for the rest of us
It's known that even the weakest state is more powerful the the strongest private owner
I am not saying that Serbia is weak state, just both clubs get money from the state and from casino sponsors connected with state. that's copy paste what CSKA did for years
We should get used to it and next couple of years they will rule competition, like Greek clubs in the distant past and some Turkish clubs in the near past
Apparently Shengelia and PAO are in concrete talks. I would love to see him in PAO. He had bad season in Virtus, but whole team had. Also was injured part of the season. Scariolo used him really weird and had as always 10 players per 20 min on the court as almost every Spanish coach do and he couldn't put big numbers. He is so strong for PF, very good defender...and his shooting % aren't bad at all even tho he is considered not good shooter. But when you look PAO backcourt you don't need big guys who are launching 3pt shot by 3pt shot...so it would be for me great transfer.
This is not false but Atamans system needs a big who can stretch the floor and therefore a shooting big needs to be signed otherwise things can get troublesome.

I was joking I didn't mean to seem annoyed or anything. I hope that at some point in the future there will be some form of financial equality in the Euroleague but until then...
The thing about private owners though is that's it's their choice to lose money. I think that for the most part basketball in Europe is not a profitable business. So why would the Serbian state choose to invest like that when it gets nothing in return? The production of good Serbian players hasn't been halted as far as I know, so what do they have to earn?
Papapetrou and Sloukas are supposed to be the co captains of Panathinaikos.
It is one thing to sign Sloukas and make him captain and a completely different (imo) thing for dpg to want to keep Agravanis (who finally left the team) and also want to have Larentzakis to our team. Does he feel intrigued to sign Olympiakos players who had/have been constantly expressing their emotions against Panathinaikos?

Greek basketball is in absolute shambles. As long as the cap on foreign players exist, any greek player that can hold his own on an EL level should interest both teams.
Justin Bean to Alba. Seems to be a good shooter but in my view questionable, whether he is physical enough for the Euroleague. Another rumor is Nate Reuvers.

just like i said, pao offered a hefty amount of buyout for dorsey but fener refused. fener wont let any player go to pao as long as player is not free agent.
FENER cedi osman is a basketball player who routinely fails to score from the foul line and will make you lose the game while under pressure. he is mentally weak and overrated.
calathes probably has better a 3-point percentage than cedi osman's free throw percentage and honestly, that's hilarious.
