Lol, I don't think Mirotic fits right now? If we go with Miro, Mito at PF and Lessort, some other center, and Anteto at C, where would Matzoukas fit?

On the other hand, Thompson is 28 years old, while Sloukas is 33 years old. I hope he remains at good shape for the next 3 years.

Its a risk though to have only lessort and antetokunbo as centers. We dont need any more greeks though now, so we could let papapetrou and go for hezonja+mirotic as our forwards

I wont be the one paying sloukas when he is 36. By the way after getting vildoza, most of you "so claimed pao fans" said that there wont be more expensive players coming. After getting lessort, same story. Now the same with sloukas. Ok you might be happy when grant is announced but there will be more expensive players coming.

I'll give you that Mario is much younger and with a bigger upside but Lucic is a proven elite SF in the EL. The numbers say that they've had similar years but Lucic has had much more longevity in the EL. So I don't get why you are being super dismissive.

I'm not sure who you are referring to but if we have no idea how much money is going to be spent and everything is kept secret then judging from the past 10 years it's not a outlandish scenario to prepare for disappointment.

Hey, I would be ok if I see Pedoulakis playing PF/C as long as Papagiannis is gone.
I don't know, something about him bothers me. He is so soft, except dunking pretty much useless in the attack and can't defend my grandma. Mirotic would be of course huge but I would actually prefer the biggest bomb at SG. I am 100% sure that Ataman will bring PF foreigner and Dinos and Mantzoukas will be backups.

You are not paying Sloukas?? I thought you were DPG's right hand.
I don't think that anyone has said that we don't afford expensive players, but the issue was whether we can sign most wanted players.

One was playing for barcelona,then nba(active) and was one of the main guys in euroleague champions and the other one was playing for bayern, every year (apart from last year due to russians being kicked out) in the bottom of the table in euroleague. Yeah pretty much the same. Maybe he sees a hidden potential on lucic shining in the future cause he is still a youngster (born in 1989, only 34)

Which confirms kinda what I said. Mario probably has a bigger upside, but in terms of EL career (stats) they've been practically the same (as of now). Maybe there is a reason that Lucic never played for a bigger club, I don't know.

How does that confirm your theory? Hezonja has been playing for f4 teams his entire career and has one euroleague already, playing much less seasons in euroleague (due to being 6 years younger and being in the nba in the meantime) while the great lucic has been playing for a bad team pretty much for his entire career. If he was that good to be a part of a f4 team (which hezonja proved he is) then why hasnt any f4 team made a move for him?
