The money that DPG allegedly gave to Sloukas is way too much considering his age and status but it was the only way that Sloukas would come. I was saying that he probably doesn’t want the backlash but everything and everyone has their price. He will wipe his tears with the 100 euro bills like that Woody Harrelson meme.

It’s a very good move that has all the advantages that I mentioned some posts back about the Greek players. Unless this compromises another transfer then I’m fine with it, it’s not my money and I have also said that with the current status of Pao we need to overpay some contracts to attract top talent.

We still need 2-3 good players but I’m conservatively optimistic.

well in the end its a great move. overpriced yes but a great move.

for my team it is disappointment that we both missed thompson and sloukas but if i look at it from another perspective, both players definitely dont deserve that much money.

I don't know what to think about this. I am excited, but 3 years is too much in my perspective. This season he will be good and I do actually think he is very good match with Vildoza at the 1...also this is like mini revenge for Spanoulis. But hopefully this amount of money won't change big targets at SG and SF/PF.

Hopefully Papagiannis won't stay and someone other will come. Beside that, yeah, this looks like a F4 roster, especially with the fans back at the OAKA and a lot of teams with weird moves and without Russian teams. But, time will tell.

If we manage to sign Hezonja and a good NBA-cut type scorer at SG, then keeping Papagiannis won't be that bad I think. I don't like him either and I would prefer some beast but let's see.
