There was surely beef between them and I mean serious beef but he also looked horrible the whole time. Maybe they have solved their problems. I am not very high on him

Well to be fair Datome was already pretty worn down when he left Fener for Milano three years ago. And that is understandable- he's been playing professional basketball since 2003.
Meanwhile Sloukas has just played a wonderful season and looks to be in the prime of his career. He's certainly in a strong situation to get the contract he wants and the assurances he needs.

Indeed, FB let go Vesely and Datome on the right time but made a big mistake signing Calathes as its first PG.

Well, they can now sign Sloukas and make things right.

Sloukas surely should be able to help FB the next 2 years

            • It's hard from non-Fener fans expecting some honest view on the topic cos we all know how Sloukas(3-6y younger) did during that time

He wasn't envolved in any big game(including title) with bigger impact then episode, slowed the pace of the game till limits of breaking nerves(Fener fans) etc

I understand why Efes(or Banvit) fans want him in Fener, but seems that Fener fans don't want him after all. As 1st pg of course, but if he accepts backup role instead of Calathes then he is more then wellcomed.

Problem is that we didn't find guy who will lead this bunch of more less solid players, Thompkins was good pick but now it's late, Efes was faster and smarter

Pangos is even better fit, but I didn't see any interest about him

                  FENER
cedi osman is a basketball player who routinely fails to score from the foul line and will make you lose the game while under pressure. he is mentally weak and overrated.
calathes probably has better a 3-point percentage than cedi osman's free throw percentage and honestly, that's hilarious.

                  • I didn't say a word about Itoudis last season considering he came late and he needed time to make some changes in the system. He is great coach and I will never change that opinion

But his role in fener is at least strange. We gona see what will happen in future, but until now he didn't bring a single big name in Fener

If Pangos, Clyburn, Higgins, Milutinov were good for CSKA why no one from them wasn;t even rumored or contacted. Why he let De Colo to go(his ex player too). Why he choose just EC players or trash from other EL clubs(like Willbekin), injured or risky rookie players from NBA. Just Dorsey was proved EL player and after 3 months he was sidelined.

Something strange is happening in Fener and god help us with this management. We could have 50 milions budget with this people in charge situation won't be better

Teodosic still isn't announced for Zvezda. Be honest, signing him remains a tempting thought, doesn't it?

In your strange logic GSW should have written off both Splash brothers because long term injuries, Thompson 2 years I think

Where was that medical stuff when Bjelica came. Who brought him is for instant shooting

Not crazy about it considering age, but 3 years younger Teo would be jackpot for us

He will sign for CZ, believe me

Your love for Calathes and Teodosic doesnt make any sense.

Yes it does. They are both terrific playmakers. I only wish Euroleague had more playmakers like Calathes.

Right now, if any contending team is smart enough should take Calathes as a backup point guard for 10-15 minites. He can still offer a lot in that role.

If they were in their primes I would agree but not at their current level but I agree with Calathes as a backup center but the problem is that he is heavily overpaid. And I am sure Jazz was not thinking about a 10-15 minutes role.
