Bad for you. Probably he's the most injury pron player in Europe. Otherwise, he could be that best player in EL.

Joke aside, the fact is that injuries affect the season for most teams except Real and Barca.

Good for CZ is easy schedule next 5 games, but it will mostly depend of Teo

also we are talking with nunn to find out if he wants to stay next season. he brought his family and looking for school for his son and he says he is happy so far. i think we can renew him with some nba out clause until some point at summer. if we fail to renew him, we will of course go for another scorer, for example larkin or micic or someone expensive. we also have vildoza, if he doesnt improve i think he will be replaced as well

    sloukas-grant
    micic-nunn-dorsey
    hezonja-papapetrou
    juancho-mitoglou
    tavares-lessort-antetokunbo

this could be a good roster
You know Lithuanian cyclist is staying 100%
It's same like Simon in the Efes. Ataman likes him and that's it and he plays perfectly. I also think Nunn will probably stay in the Europe. He will be 29 before next season and I have big doubts he will find what is he looking for in the NBA even though I think he realized he can't get big contract there anymore but he can get really nice contract here and in the NBA he is done and can only be maybe 3rd PG in the team.

Yup. The team with Arslan, Redding, Preldzic, Gordon, Harangody, Erden... I saw that then and never again a team with 17 players of the same quality - average/below average.

calling this team mediocre is unfair.

darussafaka project came to the end because dogus group became sponsor to fenerbahce after ulker.

And football is 50x bigger in UAE than basketball. They care only about money and EL is not profitable league. So it doesn't make any sense to me that they will throw 40, 50M euros per year for the budget+13M for the clubs with the licence and all other expenses for the sport that literally no one cares about in the UAE. I know 2 local people from UAE who are businessman and every 2nd word from them is "money". We will see, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if their project is something like Valencia, Asvel or even Darussafaka when they entered EL with that pretty average team.
Good points. I was making a bit of an assumption about their budget.
And I love your references to that Darussafaka team. Mediocrity that should never be forgotten.

This Dubai team will likely have the budget to sign the best Euroleague free agents.

If Pao can bring a player like Nunn who is so good for Europe but borderline for the NBA I bet that Dubai teams will be able to be stacked with “Nunn”-level talent. We’ll see how that works out.
