Celtics signed lamar stevens which means mykhailiuk spot is not secured in their roster, his contract is not guaranteed anyway. the final roster will be decided in the first week of october. so he might get kicked out of the team and become available again. he is the guy we need to cover the only position we have not so much quality (g-f) where only papapetrou can play as 3 and the lithuanian clown-cyclist-ex basketball player gets 20 minutes at friendly matches doing the exact same things he did last season, which is turnover after turnover every single time he does more than 1 drible. after all all he can do is shoot if the whole team system works for him and in defence he is probably in the top10 worst defenders in euroleague. hopefully he will be released or thrown to the crowd if we manage to get mykhailiuk

Mykhailiuk has only 200k guaranteed, so Celtics can dump him whenever they want. If he makes opening night roster, it's 1.2 mio guaranteed.

I know that he has a non-guaranteed contract, I was saying that getting Stevens has nothing to do with Svi's status.

Haha. He does seem to be unravelling at an alarming rate. A year ago I imagined him and Calathes having these lavish dinners at Itoudis' luxury apartment (overlooking the Bosphorus) and plotting the course of European basketball for the next few decades. It certainly hasn't worked out that way.

Of course, this was a very strong remark about the apartments, but what can you do about it?
