The loss is because of Kattash. Terrible game management.
As for your criticism of the clown, everyone knows he is miserable troll, who hates Maccabi.
    Yalla Maccabi!!!

I guess you mean Saras is great as coach the way he was as player?? During his years in Zalgiris, they reached 3d place in 2018 and quarterfinals in 2019 and in Barcelona, they reached twice F4.

I do agree they should keep sticking with him, perhaps raise the budget a bit because it?s a pity for such a competitive coach not to have 3 world class players in each position, so he may has a chance to finally lift the trophy

I'm confident he can manage to do it with the existing roster. His successes speak for himself, whether you like it or not

But they simply have pieces that allow to play natural, vivid contemporary BB which doesn't even require much of coaching. In other words, Saras is over-coaching Barca. But, gain, Barca is ruined with or without Saras. It's just how it is with this club.
I am watching the game now and, to me, this game is another testament of how good a coach Ataman can be, especially compared to Saras. Do you think attacking Kuric and Mirotic, while making Pleiss the main distributor, was just the "natural" flow of things? Defensively he locked Barca up, and Saras looked helpless. I don't know how. They were just doing hand offs in the perimeter.

Ataman is a very good coach, imho. winning last year's F4 against so many dominant centers with no real center of his own proves it already, but he's a strange, obsessive character and hijacks his team at times. Too many times this year.

F4 2022 was something unique with Efes transformed to a Bozidar Maljkovic team edition. We won't see it again but a coach able to do this deserves the maximum respect. I am between the two points of view, Ataman is not a genius but he is not a basket ignorant either. When self-motivated enough he has shown ideas and skills. But during the regular season often seems bored and scarcely interested in the games lol.

Undoubtedly, for me one of the best coaches in Europe. His first two years in Barcelona, has happened bad cirmustances more then usually for team who wins the Euroleague, especially first season. Second season, they simply stopped in semi-final game, without obvious reason. After two years being close to winning Euroleague they fell in some kind of resentment. Since loss in this game, they got shaken like team and like club.

They have changed this year half ot team, many of these changings ins't good for now. From the point of the view of coach, Jasikevicius most of things did well in first two seasons. This season I think he also made mistakes what brought more problems, leaning on previous problems, what is caused with injuries of players with big salaries of Mirotic and Higgins, lack of pg, bad luck,etc...

this is something make me always smile. its really funny. for israeli fans hoping in a stronger maccabi, new owners, new managers, new scouts, adding better (perimentral/ european player)
it means hating mta. well, if mta fans had my same hard criticism, even deserting yad eliahu, well, we would have a much stronger mta since long time.
in other words i could say that for you, considering those last decades unaccettable, it means hating the club. interesting view

Reaching the F4 with such an expensive roster would be the bare minimum for any coach but I get it if you consider this as an achievement, because in reality he is a very limited if not bad one.

Playing final first season, in second one losing in semi-final on one ball is at least ok..

Before Saras, Barcelona had again reached f4 in 2014. Then, in 2015 and 2016 they reached quarterfinals, in 2017 they were 11th, in 2018 13th and in 2019 they just reached quarterfinals. So, during his first 2 seasons with Barcelona, reaching f4 2 years in a row is quite an achievement in my opinion.

Of course if he repeats the previous season it would be a big failure. Panathinaikos has already fired excellent coaches like Pascual, Ivanovic, Djordjevic and there should be awareness that with this owner it will be difficult to see again big names coaching the team.

                            • There is one prejudice about Larkin, as he is iso guy what he isn't and never was. Micic, Clyburn and Beaubois are

Last 3 or 4 minutes of the game isos are not that bad, especially when you lead and try to draw fouls. But Micic and Clyburn sometimes overdo it.

Efes is already better, even with this underperforming Larkin but for beating teams like CZ, Real or Oly, they will need much more ball sharing in future.
