Dude sanli is 31 years old and averages 6.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in his euroleague career. Even his breakout season,which was last season, he averaged 7.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

A guy 2.11 averages 2.3 rebounds per game playing as a center. Campazzo is 1.78 and averaged 2.3 rebounds per game as well when he played in euroleague. If you ask me about centers being better than sanli,i would even consider kuzmic better than him and even another turkish player,duverioglou. He had a great semifinal game against csska last season, thats his career's highlight, apart from that he is just a tier 3,not even 2, euroleague center. There are some good turkish players,they play in the nba and their salary is much more than 100K,thats why you cant even think of signing.

You are comparing Belan and Duverioglu with the player who brought EL title to Efes(together with Larkin and Mcic). Ok Kuzmic was potential but never reach level he could.

I don't know from where you pulled this stats but Sanli was by far the best center and even player of F4 2021 (per 40min)

I agree that Calathes is still useful, especially for Pao. On the other hand, basketball has changed. Non shooting Pgs, out of their prime, are for sure not worth 1.4 mio. If Saras couldn't hide his deficiency in Barca, than he will be much more exposed in Pao. Barca being prepared to pay him almost full contract just to get rid of him, should tell you what Saras think about him. And Saras wanted Calathes in Barca in first place.

Nobody will defend Calathes in pick&roll. Just go under and live with his 25% shooting.

Sanli is a good player but to call a guy who's never played more than 15 mpg in EL "the best center in the league" is pretty over-the-top. Saras' statement was hyperbolic but you shot back with a hyperbolic statement.

If Iffe(or Grigonis) will come, I am ok with Calathes. Its known I don't like bad shooters, but he is an exception. First of all because he is high IQ player and he makes players around him better

He underperformed in Barca but who didn't? Kuric, Sanli, Abrines,even Davis... In Saras system only Mirotic could reach numbers, so result at the end is adequate consequence of Saras's tactics 'run the court but Mitotic is the boss'
