I can tell you 100 guys from Turkey but in fact they are trash so is Papapetrou. He has a strong core, he comes from playing to this point, he has a good scoring night out of 100 but he is offensively trash.

The important point is to be in a very good surrounding during 18 - 22 years old and I have to add that the Turkish player mindset is weak because they earn money either way. It doesnt matter if they good or bad. The majority of the 95-97 generation of Turkey would be playing Euroleague right now when they were Lithuanians or Greeks.
Papapetrou scores double digits in the EL for three consecutive seasons. In fact, Pao is rather predictable because Nedovic and Papapetrou are the go to guys. He was better than Mitoglou until last year at least. Your arguments are not making a lot of sense. But each to his opinion. I'll grant you that Mitoglou will probably be better than Papapetrou soon.

And btw Greece was losing to Serbia, not because they don't match well. But because Serbia is better. Between 2003 and 2010 though, Greece was beating Serbia. During these years Greece was always being knocked out vs Spain. That's beacause Spain was better. But Greece was always beating Spain in the 90s. The better teams win. That simple.

Having double digits in Euroleague doesnt mean anything. You can use 15 balls and can have 10 points and you are still bad as hell.

For the second part I am talking about matches, not being better or worse. Some teams can exploit the weaknesses of other teams better. You could exploit the lack of making plays better of Turkey and the Czechs could exploit your lack of bigs and forwards better thats all.

Carlos Alocén tore his ACL and is done for the season. Another hit to Spain.

Well let me clear this a bit... He would take his role, he would make plays he would score here and there but he is far away from being able to have an impact in this upcoming tournament.

It's definitely a blow for Spain if they lost Alocen, simply due to fact that without him and Rubio they will struggle to find pass first point guards. It will be interesting to see how Scariolo will respond to this and how is he going to model their game plan on offense. I mean for years Spain was relying on agressive guards who not only were great offensively but also made a huge pressure on opossing guards with their agility, quickness and on ball agression. It was tough to break their first line of defense. Besides their offense, I think they are going to be much weaker defensively in the backcourt. They are probably going to have to rely on some veterans from ACB league, but that kid Nunez comes to mind...Physically he is not yet up to this level, and not much of defensive presence too, but he's got by far the best playmakng ability out of all other guards they have right now. It might be beneficial for them to throw that kid into fire already than trying to cover it up with veterans that won't move the needle for them. I just don't know who will be their go-to-guy? Mirotic, definitely, if he is going to play, but I see a lot of role players like Hernangomez bros, Abalde, Garuba, Oriola who need to have good guards to be able to score. On top of that Lull and Fernandez are not what they used to be...I guess it's important for them to have at least Mirotic ready to play and try to carry a clear lack of scoring talent, and fill the roster with veterans and hard working role players who will defend and go strong on rebounds. They still have some size and a couple of good defenders, so I think Spain we will be watching is going to focus on defense and play with much less dynamic on offense and probably keep the result on low volume.

Well at this point Abalde will take much more play making duties. No matter how creative Nunez is right now he wont be able to handle the pressure but they can take him to the tournament in order to get him used to the NT. Mirotic can surely be an option creating for himself and also Rudy Fernandez. Who would have thought Spain being guardless.

I strongly expect Quino Comom. He is not the fastest, his defense is bad but he is very experienced and can create for others. Like I said not the fastest though. A borderline EL play maker.

Regarding his management Schröder will participate this summer. I tend to take it as positive news.

However you watch it, he's still probably the key figure for Germany. They need his handles and scoring punch. He's not the perfect floor general, but he can score at will. This is great news for Germany.

There is a certain reason why he sounds so prosaic. He probably knows what kind of problems he takes to the NT. Can you imagine why Boston traded him although he played so well?

I understand what you mean and all, but would you exclude him? Would Germany be stronger without him? Off course, not. I even see some similarities between Schroder and Larkin to certain extent.

Abrines is back so certai relief to Spain. He can add solid D and some buckets as a guard. Should surely have an important role now.

I would include him but not as a decision maker. Even you would be a better replacement.
