No question really? Doubt that. By the power of rosters we are two very even teams so I think the result of the game between us and Serbs depends almost solely on the current playing form of both teams and their psychological mood. Yesterday we were better at those factors hence the result.

He almost did that. Man, he's really impressive in games with us. Definitely Kosta gave us a lot more problems than Krstic, and I think that it's not a matter of the latter's injury.

Yes, they are so much stronger than the poor Russian NT. I think that if yesterday was a game really important for Serbian NT then they would really dominate it with the blowout in their favor being the most possible option. EuroBasket QF is just not that kind of competition for Serbs to play it with full force and concentration

So you talk shit about our team and what's your point now after yesterday's game? Will struggle to defend Teodosic? In second quarter Vitali Fridzon did it pretty well, just as I predicted. And it was our defense that resulted in his high 9 turnovers. Have no PGs to lead the game? Maybe, but just look at the assists stats So overconfident and arrogant you are and as of now you look pretty hmmm... ungrounded in your opinions. Maybe, it's time for you to have a reality check. And learn some lessons for the future.

About yesterday's game. We played better. As simple as that. Good ball movement, classy passes, smart play with the involvement of our bigs, especially Tima Mozgov (in the first half it came out better than in the second, sad to admit) and last but not least great defense. If we only manage to shoot those FT with at least at 70% accuracy Also this win is especially important since the refereeing was (traditionally in our games) awful. 2 or 3 of Mozgov's fouls on Krstic was a product of ref's imagination. Fridzon first (or second? don't remember it correctly) foul was also very questionable. And we overcame it. Finally a good game with a very strong opponent by our team.
As for the Serbian team itself (don't mind some of their arrogant fans), I wish them good luck and really hope that they will reach the fifth place. I told it many times here that there are four teams standing out among all the good teams in this tournament (and there are plenty of them in this EuroBasket): France, Russia, Serbia, Spain (in alphabetical order). It's sad that our Serbian brothers didn't reach semifinals but at least 'their' place is occupied by another ex-Yugoslav team - fabulous Macedonia, today everyone's favourite. Mine as well

Also laughing at all those prophets who predicted without a shade of doubt that all four teams from ueberstrong Group E would advance to semis. Now it's 2&2 in groups semifinal representation

Billy Bounce, Monya is really a small forward and mostly plays in this position. And offensively I wouldn't underestimate Fridzon, Mozgov and Shved (though he is so brainless and dumb, so many shitty decisions, so many cocky 1-on-1 plays, so many unprepared shots... geez, he costs us at least as much points as he collects in the game).

      btw, Slovenia almost beat Lithuania.
If Croatia had advanced instead of Finland in group F and Poland had advanced instead of Turkey, I suppose that the groups would have been more balanced. Or not?
(it's a tricky question but anyone is welcome to answer it)
Let's see what happens next. to tell, and who goes to the Final.

Anyway, for me, Slovenia is a very good team, that underachieves regularly. They did not show such a good level of play, while they should have the potential to be much closer to Lithuania. the Liths had to be destroyed by what happened against FYROM.
And on one game, who knows what can happen!

Anyway, I do think that Group E was much better than group F, and also that groups A and B were much more competitive than groups C and D. Simply because the teams that were taken down from these groups may hav won against the teams that were eliminated from the 2 other groups. Or even against the teams that passed.

Let's be honnest though, there is no easy game at all in such a competition. And groups A and B would probably just win 60% of games against groups C and D.
