Dragic got awake too late today.
And after Calderon injured himslef on the same Dragic's foot, Navarro got completely crazy! What a player! It's a bird? It's a plane? No, it's Rudy!

SG: Vujačič (I know he is asshole, but you can't deny his qualities), Z.Dragič
SF: Nachbar, Murič(he wouldn't play, because Z.Dragič can play SF also)
PF: E.Lorbek, Slokar
C: Vidmar (he was meant as 1st center, he's quite athletic and that is what we are missing now), Begič
extra player: Zupan/Brezec/Klobučar/Ožbolt/D.Lorbek/Smodiš
Brezec, Bečirovič, Milič are probably not good enough for team, but this roster (except Murič brothers, who can develop very good until next eurobasket in Slovenia) is fill with 11 players, who can contribute a lot, and there are 5 players (Udrih,Dragič,Vujačič,Nachbar,Lorbek) who can play main role in critical moments.
I think that tris roster is at least equal than Spain without P.Gasol.And in my eyes inclusion of B. Udrih would ruin the last shards of your team play and kill almost all basketball intellect involved in the organisation of offence.
In fact, I would put something like this as the Slovenian optimal team:
PG: G. Dragic, really dunno who (maybe, Capin though he is such a non-factor nowadays, maybe some of the young guys from the local league - don't khow them that much really)
SG: Lakovic (yes, as a two he could be much more useful than as a playmaker), Z. Dragic, Becirovic/Ozbolt (who exactly, depends on their current form)
SF: Nachbar, Muric (didn't khow very much about him before this tournament, but he seems pretty at his right place here in NT)
PF: Lorbek, Zupan/Smodis/Slokar (or maybe Milic - it's my old sympathy, I just love this guy playing his own impressive style and, btw, last season he had very good stats in LEGA A)
C: Begic (he definitely would be a starter, his progress really astonishes me), Brezec (he's very good nowadays, just believe me), Vidmar.
So in my opinion it's not that far from what you have as your NT today.
And yes, I don't see neither yours nor mine roster as something close to Spain without Pau. Really, San Emeterio is a role player for this Spain NT and in the Slovenian team he would be one of the undisputed leaders. Your roster could be pretty strong, actually, it is pretty strong even with Nachbar and Brezec missing (say, among Top-6 or something), but, imho, not one of the strongest of the whole tournament.
Onto the topic: it's a pity that tensity in this game didn't last long, but there were such foolish mistakes from the Slovenian side. You can't play like this with Spain.2013/2014 IBN Euroleague Prediction Game Winner

7th semifinal in a row in Eurobasket therms for Spain. Not bad.
Slovenia played really well the 1st quarter but the rest was so strange, obviously Spain boosted its performance but Slovenia forgot all the good things they´ve done during the first 10 min.
Bye.

Actually, it looked exactly the same way this France vs Spain looked. When Spain decided to play, they took 30 points advantage. And the opponent was shocked because it was just brutal, without any previous signs this would happen. It's a bird? It's a plane? No, it's Rudy!

Lucky for Slovenia that Gecevski is gone and that we play late this evening. They would have been blown away one more time. Chances are 50/50 cuz of this.
Spain playd 20 min and still win by 22.Originally posted by Ciscorlie HorfordMacedonia (I refuse to call it FYROM, Article 19, Human Rights)
