I think an American team could do great. If you could get an all star team with Durant, Rose, Lebron, Blake Griffin and build from there I definitely think they could be a top contender.

Seems so. At very least is super Macedonia, which is heading towards top 8.

With Calathes at SG not even the second round.

I didn't know that Noah was American-born,neither that that he's the son of Yannick. How uncool is that?

Not 100% but thought Noah was born to a French mother and Cameran (spelling?) father but within US borders. No doubt to me at least the best American SG would be Dwayne Wade because he has the ability but the size to play SF as well but would like to see Harden or Terry as well. I'm surprised No one else is puting up the bigger NBA names. The only rule would be American born right?

What about? Tony Parker and Dirk Norwitski

Tony Parker is American by blood. His father is American and his mother French. Also Dirk Norwitski obtained USA citizenship. Dirk is American.....

Add Tony and we would medal. Add both and we get gold.

I can't tell if you're joking. If not- the gentleman who started the thread meant to ask if all of the Americans (part Americans or Americans naturalized to another European country) who are playing in Eurobasket were put on one team how would they do in Eurobasket?

Completely misunderstood. Took it as if America had a team and participated in FIBA, like Canada or South American teams, how they would fair. Sorry. Trying to understand the whole Euroleague and FIBA thing. First season watching anything outside NBA, D-League, or college.

I mean born and raised in the United States - Parker and Nowitzki are products of the French and German systems.
