I was at the game yesterday in Alytus. And what can I say?! I've been waiting 20 years for this to happen. I've been waiting all my life for this to happen. I do not have the words to express the emotions I had during the game yesterday, and to see the nervous faces of the greek team. Oh my God, yesterday was probably one of the best days in my life. For us this was the finale, and we celebrated it till the early morning hours at the Skopje center square and later at the beerland concert. It was the biggest celebration.

Theres nothing pathetic in that. But againw e lithuanians can well connect to the games that were more than a game and a wins that were more than just few points. It was the same when we were occupied by Soviet Russia and had those matches between Zalgiris and CSKA which was in a way similar as Lithuanian NT against the rest of Soviet Union NT.

It's pathetic to blockade the border with your neighbors, because they were better then you in a basketball game. That's a definition for a pathetic action.

While celebrating a win against a much stronger opponent on a euro championship is a very understandable and reasonable thing to do.

We are talking about a country with no success at any level.
A tiny country which tries to copy things from Serbia,Greece,Albania etc to prove her existence.
So it's logical.for example if cameroon win over Spain in basketball they will celebrate too.

I heard on TV that some staff member of Greece national team wanted to make pressure on the judges before this match but the referees were not frightened and has reported him.He hasn`t anymore an accreditation.What a shame..

True, what a shame... please, could you share with us which TV station that was and we'd be really glad if you could post us a link. In case they were reporting it live, they must've have this on their website as well.
