It is not interesting, it is pure fact.
Most important thing is how good one team is able to play (ceiling or upside of team). And we know ceiling of a team from games by team in previous championships. At least for teams that didn't change roster a lot, like Spain. For teams like Greece that changed a lot of players it is kind of guessing game, I admit - but so much more is fun in it. When Pau Gasol played for Spain, I can't remember they lost serious game (I don't count funny preparation games or unimportant matches at group stage) against anyone but USA in many years (w/o Pau is another story). Correction: they lost once on JR Holden's buzzer beater.

For this Spain case, you may put "unimportant group stage games versus clearly inferior opponents results" instead of "preparation results" .

Would it surprise you if I tell you that I agree 99.99% with what you say? :P
My observation is that it seems to apply only for spanish NT while all others, when they win after a weak performance over a not so strong team are "not good this season".

It much depends from who writes posts. Usually people see own team from different glasses, more optimistic view.
And many people registered on forum just because Eurobasket. Most of them have no idea what they are talking. I know already whose posts to read, whose posts to ignore, and who is somewhere in between.

Until today's game, Sada has been and is playing better than Ricky. Believe or not is up to you.

Today Ricky had the best game so far this summer with the NT and did his job nicely. If he gets the confidence need, he will be an asset.... but so far, this is not the case.
