Surprising that Slovenia only won by 10 but they were probably experimenting new things

Tomorrows game between Lithuania and Slovenia will be a good one. Hope Motiejunas and Valanciunas have a fair shot at making the team rather than Kemzura blindly taking lesser players due to overvaluing experience
Reportedly Slovenia is just out of the physical preparations... I am not that surprised with the result if that's true. Tommorow we won't have many chances vs. Lithuania accordingly.
But you know... losing few games can be beneficial on the long term

You've got a point on that experience part, although coaches too many times decide on worse yet more experienced players when the result is a must.

I think you guys have a good shot at winning tomorrow - it's gonna be a first match for our NT and most of the players will be rusty as hell, not to mention probably nervous in front of the sellout crowd. I just hope for an entertaining game and hopefully Valanciunas and Motiejunas will play a lot (c'mon Kemzura, we trust you)

Actually you will probably win that one. Our NT's first game so many players will be rusty and tired from physical training.

I expect very bad game with lots of turnovers. We had a lots of mistakes last night, we should win that game +30.

But i would still bet on Lithuanian team today...
God help us win Spain in quatterfinals!

Lithuania today vs Slovenia without Jasikevičius, Jankūnas, Valančiūnas, Gecevičius and Petravičius.

It's so sad that Valanciunas won't play... I will be in arena at this game, I wanted to see him playing.

Does not supprise you all the big difference in the training periods? For example Serbia has been around one month concentrated and training and Lithuania is playing its firts game tonight, Spain has been just one week training and its playing next week is first game....

What is it best for the team in your opinion???

In these 3 cases the basis of the team is well known so it is quite shocking.

I think more than 4-5 weeks of training camp/preparation might be counterproductive, it can alientae players.

Looks like Zupan was cut in favor of youngster Lapornik.

20-17 Lithuania at end of 1st

                            Lakovic 7
                            G. Dragic 6

                            Songaila looks in good shape

Darjus can't play defense at all. Lorbek drew 3 foul on him in 2 minutes

                                Pocius playing a little wild

Smodis with some nice footwork, looks like he's not finished after all
