It's been a while since we crossed our lances in Euroleague predictions game.
Now, with Eurobasket ahead of us, which , it seems, will be full of surprises, it would be a crime not to run Eurobasket predictions competition.
Those who participated in Euroleague predictions are well aware of the rules, but please pay attention there are few changes.
The biggest change is the trial of odds based system for point's calcualation, now the user who guessed the right team to win will get the number of points equal to the odds of the win.
Yea, I remember , we broke many spears over the issue what is better: fixed points for the win or odd-based one ... . Of course, we've polled this issue and odds system won with a resounding advantage of one vote.
BTW, I still think that odds-based system reflects better the real life's conditions: to make a bigger profit , one has to take a bigger risk. If this system will prove itself, we'll copy it to the near Euroleague season.
Ok, here are the rules: http://www.interbasket.net/euroleague/games/rules.html
As you can see the only change from the last Euroleague game is a number of points for guessing a win.
The additional changes:
Now you can form a team to compete for the title on the team level. Just contact the guys you wanna see in your team , choose the name for your team and fill this name during your registration Please note that this team's stuff is optional, if you don't want to share your glory with the others just leave it blank.
The system now displays ( at the bottom of the prediction form ) the amount of time left to submit your vote for the current round , so please no more forum questions how much time is left
It looks like I covered all subjects, let's start to play : http://www.interbasket.net/euroleague/games/index.php
Good luck to everybody.

Ok, here are the rules: http://www.interbasket.net/euroleague/games/rules.html
- your guess of the winning team is correct = points equal to the winning team's odds
- you guessed the exact points difference of the final score (and still your team has won) you get 5 extra points
- incorrect points difference by 1 pts (your team has won) = 3 extra poits
- incorrect points difference by 2 pts (your team has won) = 2 extra points
- incorrect points difference by 3 pts (your team has won) = 1 extra points
- your guess is wrong, the team you've picked has lost the game = minus 2 pts.
As you can see the only change from the last Euroleague game is a number of points for guessing a win.
