Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
Brownlee's naturalization in my opinion would be for SMC's benefit.Don't be shocked if they will lobby for the naturalized player's rule to play as a local in the PBA and it will be granted as usual.Brownlee playing for Gilas? I don't think so, I hope I could be proven wrong.

that will not happen. it was the case with kuya marcus before and PBA won't definitely allow it
Exactly, his naturalization may not actually be for Gilas purposes. Brownlee was so enamored with the country, the fans and the culture that he wants to be officially Filipino and not necessarily a Gilas.

He'll give us eligible little Brownlee's that's for sure.

Latest B/R article on PHL Naturalization candidate Isaiah Austin. It's a buyer-beware kinda of deal, but high risk high reward if current performance is the basis.

not to mention he is just getting at around 10 rebounds a game in an 2nd tier Asian level competition. The guy cannot get physical against bigger guys plus the fact that he is literally brittle because of his condition,I'm not saying that he should stop playing but I'm sure we could find guys that is not a medical red card.
