We might give up some spacing but damn that could be the best rebounding and defensive frontcourt we could form. I believe CS has the quickness to guard big and quick wings. He is our joe ingles.

      • Austin is a sober japhet aguilar.. dont think he gets touches the same way he have with better team mates but still a shot blocker, exposed by Mirzaei and kazemi..but a quality strong pf like CS(hopefully) and JF can be a great help//
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

eventually, we can request FIBA to recognize standhardinger as a local as long as he keeps on representing the ph in both fiba sanctioned and non-fiba sanctioned tournaments. it's a matter of political will and exerting
            influence, i guess.

am not sure this would come into fruition (see:16yr old passport rule). not unless, FIBA relents and repeal or at least make some amendments with the hayop, err, hagop rule.

i think this has been discussed here extensively.

16 yr old passport rule is just the general rule. there are certain exceptions we can invoke. i believe there are four, and each must be approved by the FIBA sec gen.

that's the route the SBP took in the case of lassiter and lutz.

That's correct, it has been pointed out here before. A veteran IBNer calls it "lack of balls". It's as if he's always afraid he might make a mistake, and he actually does.

                          • Austin has got to show more this quarter,as far as i'm concerned he is being exposed by the Chinese bigs.

Agree, our naturalized player should be a do-it-all inside guy who can protect the rim and defend the post ala Douthit.
