Regarding naturalization, there are only certain laws that the President can come up with through executive orders during Martial Law. Naturalization isn't one of them, since this does not involve security issues to the country.
First they will declare martial law and then they will change the Constitution. :/

Christine Jacobs is also a naturalised Filipino. Even if she had filipino blood, it will take time to process all the needed documents and the tournament is fast approaching so she was naturalised via Presidential decree . Napanood ko lang yan sa TV program ni Chino trinidad in an interview on Game @ GMA news TV few years back, im still too young during those times.

“Hindi ko na inaano ‘yun (mapasama sa pool) eh,” Santos said. “Kung susumahin mo ang buhay naming mga player, ‘san ba talaga ang first priority namin, ‘di ba? Ang first priority ko, dahil dito ko nakuha lahat ng kagandahan ng buhay ko at para sa pamilya ko, ang San Miguel. Alam naman ng lahat ‘yun. Ito ang dapat kong paglingkuran.”

Why do you have to emphasize that?

seriously, all along i thought she was a Fil-Am. then later on i just found out that she was a Naturalised Filipino. what i knew back then is that his father is a Fil-Am and her mother is a japanese.

Are U referring to Christine Jacob or Akiko Thompson?

Akiko's father is American while her mom is a Japanese. Christine Jacob's father is an American and her mom is Filipina.

E combine mo ba naman yung looks and talent. What else could U expect?

And these athletes (pretty female athletes), I don't know, but they seem to possess that extra strong sex appeal. Talk about the Maria Sharapovas, Michelle Wies, Francesca Piccinini, etc.

                          Sorry for the OT.

To me the most impressive thing with Austin's showing is how he fits with his teamates, the players (second tier players) seem to feed of Austin's play as back line rim protector. It's one thing to get an import who dominates by himself, it's another thing to get one that fits and makes his teamates better. I remember an Import way back as a kid , i think his name was Andy Fields of Toyota. if you look at his stats they were unimpressive but he was a rim protector that made Toyota's perimeter guards look good. those outlet passes etc. that's what Austin reminds me off
