Here's something really rare: Two Pinoy seven-footers standing almost side-by-side in one photo. And none of them is named Greg Slaughter.

Future Gilas bigmen 6'7 and up under age 25.
Greg Slaugther - 7'0, 25 yrs old, Center
Junmar Fajardo - 6'10, 24 yrs old, Center
Arnold Van Opstal - 6'9, 21 yrs old, PF/C
Troy Rosario - 6'7, (21-23yrs old) PF
Matthew Aquino - 6'7, (17yrs old) Center - Still growing
Isaac Go - 6'7, (17 yrs old) Center - Still growing
Kobe Paras - 6'7, (17 yrs old) SF - Still growing
Tzaddy Rangel - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - PF - Still growing
Kmark Carino - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - Center - Still growing
Aj Edu - 6'7 (14 yrs old) PF/C - Projected height 6'10 and above.
Ethan Kirkness - 6'5 (12 yrs old) Center - Projected height 6'10 and above. He is not 6'7 yet but 6'5 at 12 is just wow.
Really keeping an eye on this players' development, they are the future of Philippine basketball against international competition. Hoping for Arvin Tolentino to have a growth spurt as he is still 18 yrs of age. Aquino might end up at 6'9, Kamark Carino's growth spurt is consistent from 6'5 to 6'7 in two years span. Kobe Paras is also still growing, imagine if he ends up at 6'8 to 6'9 with that handles and explosiveness. But what excites me is Edu and Kirkness, they can potentially grow into legit seven-footers. Edu's dad is a coach and stands at 6'8. He is way ahead on Kirkness in terms of skills and basketball age. Hopefully SBP can do something about Kirkness' development here before hopefully sending him to states for further training and development. Pretty exciting time for Pilipinas Basketball.Last edited by OjiesIII; 09-21-2014, 07:01 AM.

How come Tzaddy Rangel never played for our U-16/17 or U-18 teams?"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
