I compare him to Old Post Injury Danny S now. Lol.

Anyway, If he prove he can be a pre injury Danny S That is better.

ANOTHER THING IS, I THINK MASON WILL BE USED BY OUR COACHES AS A BIG THATS WHY.

IF I AM THE COACH, I WILL PUT HIM IN THE WING, BUT I AM NOT THE COACH.

SO, I CONSIDER HIM BIG BECAUSE THAT IS HOW I THINK GILAS WILL USE HIM NOW

    • Anyway I am. Probably too young to remember.

But as far as I know Danny S Plays 3 and sometimes 4 in SMB.

Did he play as a 2 regularly. Cant remember clearly. I am probably elemenyary that time. Haha

Danny S is 6’6 and lived in the michael jordan-kobe bryant era. I think thats enough to color your imagination.
Also he played with enough bigs (belasco, pena, ildefonso, abuda, etc) to ensure that he will play in the perimeter most of the time.

DS was better than El Khatib during his team to bad that 2002 ACL injury happened when our NT played a tuneup game against Qatar for the Asian Games 2002.

I think he was usually playing the 3 spot SMB had Pena, DI, Belasco and Abuda rotating 4 and 5 position

Only becoz Khatib was younger. During the early 2000's Seigle was already in his mid-20's while Khatib was still in his early 20's. Which means that at that time Seigle was already in his prime while Khatib was still on the rise.

I think a prime Khatib is still better than a prime Danny Seigle in terms of overall skills. We have to take note that while Seigle was a solid scorer, he was a deadweight on defense. Khatib on the other hand plays solidly in both ends.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

              Thanks.

Thats why he is called Walking Mismatch

Isnt it Nice For Mason to be like that?

THOUGH TALLER RDO may be good enough

Even D’Admiral admitted he’s a little slow to play the wing

                      Usman Garuba - 6'8 Spain

                      Charles Bassey - 6'9 Nigeria

Ibou Dianko Badji - 7'1 Senegal

                      Khalifa Diop - 6'11 Senegal

                      Filip Petrusev - 6'11 Serbia

                      Kai Sotto - 7'3" Philippines

                      Makur Maker - 6'11 Australia

Hope, they all get drafted and play in Nba. Nba Bigs starting to revive again. And International Centers are the ones who reviving Centers in Nba.

PS: I Really think few years from now, Nba "Bigs" Position will be dominated by International Bigs.

His skill set is that of a modern 4 but it's hard to tell if likes to play the position..

Even Wiseman who's playing for GS doesn't look that good at the moment TBH. He looks so raw.

Wiseman’s always been a bit more of a traditional big man. Next year’s Mobley though is a more modern much more skilled big though the questions are about his frame\strength

Watching the highlights it seems Princepal had problems guarding the perimeter and interior as well. But according to coach Shaw he’s the one who has improved the most out of all the prospects which makes sense since he’s the one that probably had to start from a lower point playing in India and having to get used to the level of athleticism and physicality displayed
Ayun, there's our template. As I keep saying, our 6'6"-6'8" guys should not be traditional bigs limited to just rebounding and paint protection. We're really slow on picking up these developments. It's been a thing since the early 2010's.

6’10 with a track and field background

Getting more big guys into track and field might help making more mobile big guys.
